Freddy Bricker Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 What minifigures came in that "press swag"? It'd be great if you knew, because I think I spotted a fleshy head in there. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 On a side note, does anyone know about how long this movie will be? Quote
just2good Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 What minifigures came in that "press swag"? It'd be great if you knew, because I think I spotted a fleshy head in there. Batman, Wonder Woman, Icecream Jo, Emmet, Wyldstyle, Vitruvius, Bad Cop, one of the CC Knights, and President Business. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Thanks, for a moment there I thought Wonder Woman was Karai (the heads seemed similar) Quote
Dorayaki Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Grate another one we won't see in the UK Which one? Quote
Super Goblin Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 All those clips! Uni-kitty seems to be just as controlling as Lord Business though, anyone else here think that Lord Business bares a very strong resemblance to a certain politician? Now that you mention it he does look just like Obama. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Now that you mention it he does look just like Obama. I asked LLM if he could get pictures of the Movie sets, and he said there weren't any. -Sci Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 My girlfriend - no, my fiancée, I have to remind myself; I proposed two days ago and she accepted - just won two tickets to an advance screening in Orlando on the 1st. We'll get to see it this Saturday! Woohoo! I wonder whether there'll be any sort of bricktacular swag? Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Now that you mention it he does look just like Obama. I was going for something a bit more realistic, you know, like Hillary Clinton? Unless of course, Lord Business is President Business, but that would be absurd! Quote
PenPlays Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I asked LLM if he could get pictures of the Movie sets, and he said there weren't any. -Sci Technically, we've already seen them. Although he did say something about a fourth set (confusion with the sea cow?). Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) In other news -Sci And in other other news... This appears to be the same one as the Walmart promo for the game, so thank goodness for that, at least. Perhaps in order to get every polybag and whatnot we won't have to buy multiple copies of the game from different vendors and for different platforms; maybe we'll need to get just one, and see the movie multiple times in multiple theaters. :p Actually, I don't think I'll mind that too much, if so. On a side note, does anyone know about how long this movie will be? According to IMDB it's 100 minutes. Edited January 28, 2014 by Blondie-Wan Quote
bekindsorewind Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Luckily I have both theaters next to each other so it looks like I'll be seeing this movie more than once at different theaters! (Not a problem if you ask me ) Quote

ResIpsaLoquitur Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 OK, so, is there a THIRD theater that's giving away a Wild West Emmet...? (Sorry, but my Wild West Wyldstyle feels alone without him.) Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Thanks! I'm lucky to have her. We actually live in Tallahassee, so an Orlando screening (the closest she could get) is a bit of an undertaking, but we don't exactly mind taking weekend trips there (we both have season passes to Walt Disney World and annual passes to LEGOLAND Florida ;) . We also have both AMC and Regal theaters here in town, so at the moment I think I may see it first this weekend in Orlando, a second time here on opening day, and a third the day after that, so as to get both / all the bonuses (assuming I like the movie, of course, but that seems a given now). OK, so, is there a THIRD theater that's giving away a Wild West Emmet...? (Sorry, but my Wild West Wyldstyle feels alone without him.) An excellent question. Inquiring minds want to know! refriedbeans Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Thankfully my theater is a Regal Cinema! Quote
PenPlays Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Wonderful! Was already planning to see it twice (Cinteopia first because huge gorgeous screen ). Is the minifig at Regal only on the 7th? Too bad I don't have a Stubs near me. Quote

I don't know, but since it says "while supplies last" without an end date, my guess is that Regal theaters will hand theme out until they run out, whatever date that happens. Quote
PenPlays Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I just realized that the Regal ad says "with a Real D 3D Ticket purchase." I hate movies in 3D. Quote
ResIpsaLoquitur Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Bleah. The AMC bonus requires you to be a Stubbs member. Stubbs membership requires you to pay $12. So I'd have to pay $12 plus $15 for a ticket to get a Minifigure which, by all rights, should be worth $3. Pass. At least a Regal membership is free and the Pajamas Emmet is more appealing anyway. JeagerEX Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) http://www.reddit.co...ovie_promo_set/ Found a promo tin set, but there's some problems with the minifigs. Wyldstyle's folded hood is missing and Batman has no cape and there's Vitruvius, Bad Cop with Good cop face and President Business from the evil lair set. Instead of buying this kind of rare tin, I will go to bricklink to get Ice Cream Jo, Wonder Woman and the rest since I already have Emmet and Wyldstyle from the specific sets. Also I have Gallant Guard too by customizing those ones from the 2013 Castle Forest Ambush set. Edited January 28, 2014 by JeagerEX Quote
Brandon Miller Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Local Walmart has all Movie sets on clearance now. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) I don't have either of those theater companies near me, so off to bricklink maybe. As far as MOCs, I was told I've had a lego lamp in it and someone has George Washington crossing the Delaware. I'll wait and see if they are in the movie, but the local paper did an article with them in it. Keep in mind we are in the Lincoln/Omaha area, so basically the most populated area of Nebraska. Still, it's Nebraska. Edited January 28, 2014 by TheLegoDr Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Want that tin! Will we be getting the polybags in the UK? Quote
