WOW that clip is epic!!!!! I'm really excited now it looks like a part set long before the story of the movie as freeman is in a different costume and this appears to be the part where he is blinded n gets the glowing eyes. Really looking forward to seeing the film. Maybe we will get a Morgan Freeman in that outfit from the clip with the sea cowor a book or dvd.

I saw the sea cow in a hop in Oslo today, which surprised me.

They only got the first wave of lego movie sets in early Januaryand i had thought the the pirateship was due for the next wave at a later date.

Go take some pictures!

Please don't leave us hanging like that haha! How much was it? Did you get a chance to take any pictures?

I usually think that gratuitous play features crammed into a model detract from official Lego sets, but all that awesome stuff worked into Benny's ship, just… wow! Really a must-buy for me now!

The police dropship is still just "meh" for me. I don't know quite what it is but I'm just not excited about it like a lot of the others so I think it just comes down to preserving my budget and allocating that cash elsewhere in the line… but that's not really a bad thing. ;)

I think that the police dropship looks a bit "small" for the pricetag. Just compare it to the spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP which is just like 15 bucks more yet 3 times as big.

However I do believe that the details on the dropship aswell as the characters (Licensing for Batman?) jacks up the price.

I agree that the spaceship looks great but I like the dropship too but will just have to wait for a really good sale as it is a lot for what you get

I'm really loving the ssS. Plenty of minifigs and functions.

Now if we could only get that awesome SSP Helicopter from one of the trailers as a set.

I'm curious if there will be another wave for this theme in early 2015. There are already a few vehicles that we've seen with plenty of set potential. I think Lego could benefit greatly from it.

Just saw the movie...no spoilers but I can say it was awesome. Well worth seeing and a lot of surprises, cameos, and twists you would not see coming from the trailers or even reading the books.

Toys N Bricks is reporting that the Super Secret Police polybag is available at TRU now. Anybody seen it yet? I may have to run over there tomorrow....

Of course, the Emmet's car set is available free at TRU next Saturday. Anyone going? I can't make it, and my wife may not be able to take my daughter. I'd like to see a parts list so I can Bricklink a 3177 Small Car and modify it accordingly (they're almost but not quite the same).

My toys r us looked like they were in the middle of setting up the display and there was no polybag yet.....we will be going to the toys r us build on saturday. I'll try to scan the directions

Here's the instructions for the 3177 car. As far as I can tell, the few differences are as follows:

1) The white 2 x 4 plate should be replaced with a black 1 x 4 plate and two black 1 x 1 plates with the round clip attached.

2) The 1 x1 round plates (the headlights) should be replaced with clear 1 x 1 round tiles.

3) The rear view mirrors are made of two black cheese slopes and two silver 1 x 1 round tiles.

4) The front bumper (two white cheeses and a 1 x 2 white tile) should be replaced with a 1 x 4 grey arch.

It's hard to tell if anything else is different between the TRU build and 3177. What worries me is that the TRU car looks like it's made of deep green bricks instead of 3177's black. I hope that's just a trick of the light; in the movie clips, Emmet's car appears to be black. I'd hate if it turned out that the car was made of a harder-to-find deep green brick.

How is that satellite dish connected at the back of Benny's ship? It looked like it was springing up somehow.

I thought so too, but closer inspection reveals that it has a flick missile attached to the back, and the presenter merely wedged her finger between the missile and the dish so that it followed her in both directions. It appears to be attached with just a simple click hinge.

I didnt think of taking pictures, and i am a bit hazy on the price. Think it was 2200-2300 something NKR which is about 220£.

I didnt look too closely as it isnt really on my must buy list, I just noticed it was there.

I am more intrested in the dropship and possibly the constructomech and Bennys ship but i didnt see those.

Ah ok fair enough Shushen, I understand completely. Thanks for your response though. The pricing you're saying sounds about right for the set.

Yesterday we attended the advance screening I mentioned earlier. This one was in Orlando, and presented by LEGOLAND Florida; annual pass holders such as my fiancée and I got to enter a contest to win tickets, and she won. Hooray! It turned out there was indeed a little swag - a small version of the main movie poster, plus the Radio DJ Robot minifigure (the same one offered through the AMC Stubs promo and the Walmart preorder promo for the videogame). We also picked up a different poster that the theater had itself. Honestly, the DJ Robot figure was the promo item I was least worried about getting since we have an AMC close by and we're already Stubs members, but I'm still very glad to have gotten it all the same.

As for the movie... Wow! I was giddy with delight from beginning to end. I won't spoil anything, but I will say it's mainly very funny, with a few moments that are unexpectedly touching, and it will require multiple viewings to catch everything.
