I don't want to be the negative guy here but Benny's SSS looks like there's going to be a huge amount of 'stickering' :sceptic:

Seeing those sets really made me wonder if they were planning that crazy sub, that would have been my favourite set.

Anyway, I think these last 3 sets look way better than the ones released in February. Didn't care that much for those 2 in 1 sets tbh.

Too bad I don't have much display space left, It will be hard to choose; that's for sure.

Thanks for the pics!

That's true, though it's still a great set! :classic:

After seeing the pictures, I think my first priority is still going to be the SSP Dropship.

It's still got 3 printed Classic Space logos on the slope bricks so I'm happy about that. I wish the CS logos on the tail fins were printed but I seriously doubt it.

But yeah, Lego should ban stickers. I hate them.

I just got the Getaway Glider, Cloud Cuckoo Palace, and Bad Cop's Pursuit today, All three are great sets, but my favorite has to be the Palace. I can't wait for Benny's SSS. I wonder why they gave Johnny Thunder eye shines instead of leaving them solid like Benny and Emmet's eyes.

I hate Benny's SSS.

Because when I got back from my dark ages I promised myself I'll only buy Creator and City/Town sets. Now the SSS will ruin that plan (and my economy).

Agreed, I do not really care much for stickers. However, it does appear that the slopes with the planet logo will be printed. Some highly detailed photos indicate that those parts are not stickers. The others will likely be stickers, but I can live with it. To date, I have yet to buy two of anything, but this might be the first time I do so: one set for the spaceship, and one for creating a Classic Space MOC of some kind.

Don´t know if this is the real Lego Movie thread to ask this in but didn´t find any other thread discussing the Movie and the stuff that comes with it so,

Question is, does someone know will the special The LEGO Movie: Everything is Awesome Edition be available anywhere else then in North America?

It would be cool to have that young Vitruvius fig.

Yes, but The LEGO Movie teaches us that mixing themes is what all the cool kids do. :)

That's been bothering me a bit too, but nonetheless, still great to see the return of a classic minifigure from when I was a little LEGO monster.

All the sets look amazing, especially Benny's SSS. Though my personal favourite is Emmett's construction mech!

Fortunately, I have the original Johnny Thunder head from an old bag of garage-sale LEGO pieces, so I could swap it out if I wanted the Dropship. The head's the only piece of Johnny Thunder I have, though.

I have something like 30 original JT heads I got in a dumpster behind a Toys 'R' Us once. I'm kind of looking forward to the new one just for that minor change.

What in the world!!! Great story though.

So... I went to TRU's encore presentation of their The LEGO Movie event today, and got my own set of parts for Emmet's car / spaceplane-thingy (I believe that's the technical term :p ). It's quite nice, given that it's remarkably close to being a full-blown copy of the 4177 Small Car minus a driver, yet it's completely free. I'm very glad to have gotten it.

I managed to have made it to the event as well.

After building both forms of the car, I was curious if I could make a boat MOC as well. The end result was quite nice.

They had a LEGO Soccer event or something, and threw out all the unused pieces when it was over. Bunch of Johnny Thunder heads, that "Classic Smiley, but with Eyebrows" head, tan generic hair, black generic hair, and more white bodies/legs with yellow hands than anyone could ever need. I grabbed it because why wouldn't I?

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the three sets in June, although I think I like the construction mech the most. The S,S,S! is pretty great, but it almost looks like it would be awkward to SWOOSH, and the dropship is pretty neat, but a bit boxy in the end.

Considering he doesn't even speak in the movie, perhaps he was going to have a bigger role, but they cut it and these sets were made from that idea anyway. After all, I'm pretty sure I remember hearing something like in a previous (longer?) version of the movie, some characters were going to have bigger roles (which may have included those master builders) and ones they couldn't get in were going to appear (which, for all we know, could have included Indiana Jones, because of his presence on that "The Piece of Resistance" draft.

Oh hell yeah; I'm totally inspired to put like, 40 different theme elements into the same Town setting right now.

So we still have not seen any sign of the Everything is Awesome Edition with Vitruvius outside of the US, not good sign

Release date in the UK looks to be the 21st July according to Amazon UK. Unfortunately, the updated box art and information for the DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray suggests that we won't get the "Everything is Awesome" version.
