Tobias_Jay Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Can anyone who owns the PC version tell me if it can be registered with Steam (on the back of the case, is there a logo that looks like this)? Huge thanks in advance. Edited February 11, 2014 by Wall E2624 Quote
Crackerjack Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Can anyone who owns the PC version tell me if it can be registered with Steam (on the back of the case, is there a logo that looks like this)? Huge thanks in advance. If you haven't bought the game already it's available on Steam right now. Quote
elleana Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Has anyone tried it on a portable console? I.e. 3DS / Vita. How is it compared to the regular console version? Quote
Lance Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Has anyone tried it on a portable console? I.e. 3DS / Vita. How is it compared to the regular console version? Judging by past LEGO games, not as good. Someone on the last page said they didn't like it. Quote
Soundmanred Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Is the cop chopper or Bad Cop's car drive-able in the game? I really need to get a good look on them so I can build them on LDD. (And later in real life) It's one of the golden instructions you build in the bonus stage. Finally saw the movie today and I have to say that I'm pretty amazed at how much voice work went into the game. I figured it would be similar to LEGO: LOTR where the lines are just dubs from the films, but there's a TON of original voice work in the game. For example, Vitruvius talks about 5 times more than he does in the movie and he's way funnier in the game! I was also impressed at how they kept certain points from the movie out of the game while still keeping the story cohesive. I really enjoyed playing through a story I hadn't seen before and with characters that aren't highly established like LOTR, DC, Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc. FYI, there's no TMNT or Simpsons characters in the game even though they are in the movie. :) Like in the past Lego games it gives you the characters you encountered after each stage, but in this game they also give you random characters as well. It's nice that you can buy them on the character select screen if you don't feel like finding them to purchase around the worlds. This is also the first game that I found all of the red bricks and other collectibles on my own with no codes or guides (none were available when I played through it!). Highly recommended for Lego game fans even if you're burned out on the series! Quote
???theriddler??? Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Got this game today, and i'm at level 9 in like 3.5 hours. That's way too fast. Only 70 gold bricks, instead of 250 in most lego games. It's cool that everything is made out of lego's. But yeah, i really enjoyed the movie, but not so much this game. Maby because i've played since the first lego star wars. I liked lego marvel super heroes though. I will let you know what i think of it when i finish it. Quote

Huge thanks in advance. It is on Steam but I have a feeling that the game will be like Lego Marvel and have really bad controls plus I would like if Steam get to have something to give out as well but sadly no.Also I am getting the game on Xbox 360 at walmart Edited February 13, 2014 by ShadowWolfHount Quote
Lance Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Coud someone possibly tell me if the Xbox 360 version has a better performance than the Wii U version? They didn't offer Western Emmet with the Wii U version, so my son went with 360. I remember him getting Marvel on Wii U and saying that it had issues, but I'm not sure if they were unanimous among all platforms or exclusive to that. Quote
Lego Spy Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 ... plus I would like if Steam get to have something to give out as well but sadly no. I'm somewhat surprised that the "Western Legs" DLC wasn't available through Steam. Quote
TheNerdyOne_ Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I'm somewhat surprised that the "Western Legs" DLC wasn't available through Steam. It is, I bought it on Steam alongside the game.Controls could use a lot of work, as always, but I haven't noticed too many bugs (aside from one that prevented level progression until I could get it to work correctly). BlueberryWaffles Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Really? The WWP DLC isn't on XBL yet........weird. And yes, I too LOVED the extra voice work. My favorite was in the Cloud Cuckoo level, where you see lots of balloons floating on the bottom of a cloud. Emmet: so that's where balloons end up! Batman: I'll pop them with my Batarang. Emmet: Can I have the green one? Batman: No. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I'm somewhat surprised that the "Western Legs" DLC wasn't available through Steam. Indeed and sadly they didn't have a pro-order so you can get one of the minifigures. Quote
TNT apples Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Is there a demo available for PC? I'd quite like to try it out before I buy it... Quote
???theriddler??? Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) Just finished it. I have 100% and all the trophies, and did it in 12 hours and 3 minutes. Way too short. At the other Lego Games I have 22 hours on the clock or longer. It was all just too easy. For a kids game it's okay, but haven played every single other Lego game that was released on the console, this was the most dissapointing one. I didn't like the cuckoo levels and the music was sometimes annoying. If you really want to play it rent it. It's not worth 60 euro's i think. I hope Lego The Hobbit will be better. My favorite is still Lego City Undercover, man that was amazing! Edited February 15, 2014 by ???theriddler??? Quote
Savage Oppress Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Hey guys, I think the music for the Clood Cuckoo Land Level in this game is a remix of Feel This Moment by Pitbull. They sound so familiar. Quote

ShadowWolfHount Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Controls could use a lot of work, as always I don't think they are going to fix the PC controls at all but I hate not using the mouse to move my camera (LEGO MARVEL). Is there a demo available for PC? I'd quite like to try it out before I buy it... I don't think there is a demo for the game at all, so i mainly think you should look at some let's plays of The Lego Movie Videogame. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I have got the Lego Movie VideoGame on Xbox (and I got the DJ Robot along with it) and so far, it's a really good game, don't have anything bad right now. Quote
HardHatEric Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Already found the hidden disco room, in this game it isn't hidden though. Part of the Construction Site level. ...hidden disco room? What? Quote
Lyichir Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 ...hidden disco room? What? There's been a hidden disco room in a number of the other Lego games, starting with Lego Star Wars. Does the one in this game play a remix of Everything is Awesome? Quote

PenPlays Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 They aren't really that secret. Just smash a few build-its, and that's it. The thing with Lego Star Wars the Complete saga for DS (3DS was still a few years away at the time ) is that it is completely different from the console version. In fact the DS (and earlier Nintendo handheld) versions would always be a completely different game. Even the PSP version was the same as the console version. The point is that, that particular version has no Disco room. Sorry. They usually require minimal searching, but usually require multiple build-its to initiate (hence the satisfaction when you are done). Quote
