NovaSentinel Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 How many CW sets? So no OT sets outside of the bp and the new scale sets? Quote
just2good Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 How many CW sets? The Clone Wars show is done, so I doubt we'd ever see anymore CW stuff. Quote
NovaSentinel Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Darth Tater just said we are getting some S5 sets. Im guessing one of them will be that republic tri-wing shuttle that Sidious uses to get to Mandalore Could you pm me the list or better pics if you have them? :) Quote
North Lego Star Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Glad to! The X-Wing and Star Destroyer are two out of the six planned, we'll say, recruitment sets, since they seem to be geared more towards new Star Wars builders. That is, they are larger than the planet sets' vehicles, but a minifigure cannot fit inside. Each one of the six will come with a minifigure, whether or not they are exclusive to that line is yet to be seen. I expect these to be about $10-15. It is not the Battle of Felucia, but the Battle of Saleucami. It's a battle pack, one of 4 battle packs in the January line. Holy Crap! Thanks for the clarification Darth Tater. Great we'll be seeing a lot of Clone Troopers this year as it seems to be the big seller. Darth Tater I hope you don't mind answering just a few more questions of my... 1. Are the other Two Battle Packs Imperial and Rebel Battle Packs? 2. Are the Vulture Droid and V-Wing a part of the regular system sets are part of the new recruitment sets? 3. Due you believe the increase in sets is going to be a regular thing in the future or rather just for Lego Star War's 15th Anniversary? I would greatly appricate it if you responded to my questions, thanks! Just say the list below and all I have to say is AWESOME!!!!! 13 sets in the Winter Wave, I can't wait to see what the Summer has for us! Edited August 13, 2013 by North Lego Star Quote

Brickdoctor Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I don't get it. darth_tater is actively posting here already. Why would you get a list from him over PM only to post it yourself? Sounded to me like darth_tater didn't want to list everything in public; he could've done it himself if he did want it posted. Quote

darth_tater Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Oh yeah, I gave permission to have the list go out. No worries! Quote
DarthPotato Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Woah, interesting. It sort of seems weird to me that there's no opposition for the single factions in the battle packs. I'm really excited for the clone and Wookie battle pack, I was also sort of expecting that one to come. The Coruscant Police Gunship will most likely be based off of the last couple episodes of Season 5 of The Clone Wars where Ahsoka's framed and goes into hiding in the Coruscant Underworld while she's hunted by the Republic. Maybe we could see Phase 2 Commander Wolffe in this set? Still, it looks like they weren't kidding when they said this wave would be ROTS-heavy. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Oh yeah, I gave permission to have the list go out. No worries! I see. I still find it strange that you're all PMing each other only for one of you, not the originator of the rumor, to come out and post it in public, but, okay. Quote
TeufelHund Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Not much for us OT fans but I guess my five-year old will be happy. Hopefully the Death Star trooper pack has some Imperial officers in it and not just four Death Star troopers. Also why a new Jedi Interceptor for Anakin? 9494 is still available (unless this is a CW version?). Edited August 13, 2013 by TeufelHund Quote
Oky Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Thanks for the list! If those Battle Packs are true it will be awesome. I wonder what this new "recruitment line" will be. Perhaps something like the midi-scale sets? Or planet sets minus the planets? They must be some kind of minis because I just can't see them doing minifig-scale versions of those vehicles in the same wave, especially after we've had remakes of about half of them recently. The rest of the sets sound pretty boring, although I'm sure they'll come with amazing minifigs. And seriously, we're getting a set of this? No thanks! Quote

Also why a new Jedi Interceptor for Anakin? 9494 is still available (unless this is a CW version?). That's what I'm thinking, along with the Droid Tri Fighter which I'm hoping finally comes with some Rocket Super Battle Droids(there really the only Sepertist Droid we haven't gotten.) That gives us four CW sets which is pretty good and should allow the inclusion of all the important minifigs left to be done. So I assume by the way these are the minifigs that will come with the Recuritment Sets... 75028 Clone Turbo Tank-Kashyyyk Trooper 75029 AAT-Jar-Jar Binks 75030 Millennium Falcon-Niem Numb 75031 TIE Interceptor-Another TIE Pilot(New Helmet Though) 75032 X-Wing Fighter-Wedge Antillies 75033 Imperial Star Destroyer-Admiral Piett Quote
Fives Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 That is an impressive list. Looks like the BPs are going back to what they used to be; single faction army builders. Good move LEGO. The wave seems very ROTS centric. I'm also excited to see this new recruitments line. Seems like an amped up Planets line. Quote
Oky Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Supposedly they're out of scale smaller minifig-fitting vehicles. Which I think will be cute! Oh, I didn't see Darth Tater's earlier comment... but didn't he say that they don't fit minifigs? Would be nice if they were chibi sets like the recent Comic Con exclusives. Quote
NovaSentinel Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I hope the battle of saleucami has Neyos troopers in it, with the specialised helmets. The V-wing and Jedi starfighter will most likely be identical models to the recent releases, but red instead of black and yellow instead of green respectively. The police gunship could also come with a phase 2 Commander Fox and another Shock trooper. Darth Tater can you tell us the minifigs? Or could you describe the sets so we can estimate prices? Thanks :) Quote
Artanis I Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 There's no need to say "how can they be battle packs if there's no opposing minifigs to battle" if you instead refer to them as "army [building] packs"... then it doesn't matter if there's no droid "army pack" Quote
legoboy12345678/David Hall Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 And here's a pretty version of the list Thanks again to Darth Tator, you rock bro, now get us pics! Quote
wesker Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Four battlepacks sounds awesome. Even better they're going back to the single faction ones. I'm guessing we'll be seeing some updates of these troops (or in the case of the 212th trooper a non-Clone Wars version) Quote
Delta 38 Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Thanks for the info. Four battle packs is great news, but the lack of a Droid battle pack is a bit strange. Too bad about the planet sets though, the planets and little models were pretty cool. I suppose there are only so many planets you can use anyway... Quote
Tariq j Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the list! I can't wait to see the new planet sets, it's a shame about the CW line they actually released some pretty good sets, the latest one is very good. BTW sorry is this has been answered before but is there a rumour website? One last thing, I posted this earlier but I'll do it again anyway it's the link for a brickmaster book, I don't know when it's coming I just found a picture of it: http://toysnbricks.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/LEGO-Star-Wars-Brickmaster-Battle-for-the-Stolen-Crystals-2013-Book-Toysnbricks-878x1024.jpg Edited August 13, 2013 by Tariq j Quote
Seaber Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Death Start Troopers, Kashyyyk Troopers and possibly up to four of the new recruitment sets depending on minifigs. I'm glad of an inexpensive wave once in a while! Quote
Cyberbricker Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I really hope they don't mess up the kashyyyk Trooper like they did with the new Bikerscout Trooper... Quote
Borex Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Can't help to read Battle on Salami. Clone Troopers in a meat kinda outfit Quote
