Here's a speculation: The tan hairpiece in this upcoming Ninjago set might be a tan version of Anakin's Ep3 hair from the upcoming Jedi Interceptor. They used a tan version of the CW Anakin hair for Lloyd in the Ninjago TV show, so maybe they are doing the same thing in this set with Anakin's new hair.

That hair originated as Anakin hair. It's been used for him since 2008.

Oh, I thought the Lloyd hair was new, but it's just in a weird angle. Upon further inspection I realized they were the same. . Sorry.

Somehow it looked different to me too... Never mind.

That hair is better than the original version that first came out. Hopefully we can see some pics soon that aren't confidential Grogal?

So how about Kmart releases them 2014 Star Wars image, I'd think that'd be much cooler :P

I think LEGO needs to give ROTS Anakin the same hair as Aragorn but in reddish brown. Thats what I did and it looks WAY better.

I vaguely remember that, but I didn't record a source in the first post...where did we hear that?

darth_tater posted it about a month back along with the other rumored sets. Now that I looked back on it, you forgot it then also!

I do like the Death Star Trooper's BP since we finally will get some DS Gunners.

Which I dislike are three things: The new blasters, that there are Imperial Guards instead of some more useful Imperial characters (like new officers or at least DS Troopers or Stormtroopers - which can be used much more) included and that the Imperial Guards have laserblasters instead of lances (when did they ever have laserblasters?!). If TLG doesn't change these things in their final product, this set won't be a BP of which many people buy several of in order to get a big army of troopers, but more a set to buy only one or maximum two of.

It is true that it is nice to have cheap Royal Guards. However, the set would not be good for army building as Klaus-Dieter said.

Yeah, it would be a lot better with a BP that contains figs everyone will want many of. Will probably end up getting a couple of packs though.

The old 7667 / 7668 packs were awesome. The current Endor BP is also pretty good.

I agree with you the imperial guards are a major drawback of this set and i can see this going on sale very soon. If it was just one imperial guard then it would of been better.

Most likely, yes, nearly all imperial troops have that face, except officers of course.

If it came with only one Royal Guard I would get 4 or 6, nut now I'm getting only 2! Its good if you don't have Royal Guards yet, but I have 4 already... I will have more Royal guards then stormtroopers if I get more then 2 or 3 of these BP's... At least if i only count the latest update of the stormie...

You're all mad! Royal guards are awesome minifigs! Surely it makes a nice change to get a different minifig instead of yet another Stormtrooper? Don't get me wrong, I love stormies and have an army of them but with any luck the Royal guards will be updated a little from the last ones.
