Tariq j Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I can confirm the Utabau Troopers...there will be 4 troopers and something like spider droid. Is this a battle pack? Because it sounds like a good one. About Slave I, if one was created it would certainly require either a lot of curved pieces or some new big curved pieces, the cockpit would be a good example. Quote

Yes, it is a standard battle pack for standard retail price :) Quote

Tom Jurassic Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Where did you get that information? I am intrigued about this too. Were there any plain troops, or was it all 212th Troopers Pablo? :) Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Sounds like the set features a crab droid: (source: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/LM-432_crab_droid) About time I'd say Quote
Tariq j Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Yes, it is a standard battle pack for standard retail price :) But if it was a BP then why is their a spider droid in it? I thought TLG are doing separate battle packs Quote
Pablo94 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) I've seen pictures, very small, so i can't tell you which troops feature battlepack. It is separate BP, but droid is the brickbuild (like droidekas in 2013) EDIT: I think this is the droid which i'm talking about: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Octuptarra_combat_tri-droid Edited October 8, 2013 by Pablo94 Quote
Legoman123 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) I'm glad to finally here some news on the Utapau troopers set. I personally think that the battle packs this year are the best we have ever seen, and this news just tops it off very nicely. Edited October 8, 2013 by Legoman123 Quote

Brickadeer Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I just found these pictures of Grievous on Bricklink. The seller claims that this is the 2014 model: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/3379/kcuq.jpg http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/2149/nigt.JPG http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/6167/94mj.jpg Quote

The mini fig seems plausible. Quote

BrickBob Studpants Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I hope it's the real one, it looks perfect and much more like the movie counterpart than the CW version Quote
Brickadeer Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I hope it's the real one, it looks perfect and much more like the movie counterpart than the CW version I think I prefer the CW version. Basically, Tan was replaced by White, and the eyes look different, though in my opinion not better. Quote
wesker Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 That Grievous figure looks awesome. Hope its the real deal. Quote
Corydoras Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 The Utapau Battle Pack indeed comes with 4 clones and an Octuptarra Tri-Droid! Quote
Republican Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) I don't know how credible this is but here's what I found. "German online retailer Werst has listed quite a few 2014 LEGO sets with pricing to their inventory for pre-order. The only theme that wasn’t listed were the 2014 Chima sets. The prices are in Euro but it’s usually the same or close to US pricing." 75028 Clone Turbo Tank – $9.99 75029 AAT – $9.99 75030 Millennium Falcon – $9.99 75031 TIE Interceptor – $9.99 75032 X-Wing Fighter – $9.99 75033 Imperial Star Destroyer – $9.99 75034 Death Star Troopers – $16.99 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers – $16.99 75036 Utapau Troopers – $16.99 75037 Battle on Saleucami – $19.99 75038 Jedi Interceptor – $29.99 75039 V-Wing Starfighter – $29.99 75040 General Grievous’ Wheel Bike 75041 Vulture Droid 75042 Droid Gunship – $49.99 75043 AT-AP – $69.99 75044 Droid Tri-Fighter 75045 Republic AV-7 Anti-Vehicle Cannon – $49.99 75046 Coruscant Police Gunship Those seem pretty expensive to me. but It is approximated to the US dollar. http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-2014-tentative-set-pricing/ Edited October 8, 2013 by Republican Quote

It pretty much seems like the real deal. White printing + new face printing. It's probalbly going to cost much on BL, which makes buying the set itself a far more reasonable deal. Darth Malgus Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Ah, finally some tidbits of informtion... Quote
Corydoras Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 It could be a crab droid. Nope, it's most definitely an Octuptarra combat Tri Droid. A shame its three blaster cannons are really flick fire missles... Quote
Tyfett Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 It seems like the prices are pretty steep for the battle packs, even though they are new minifig designs Quote
