November 2, 201311 yr I like the new X-Wing Pilot, he definitely has more details! As for the Droid Gunship, it looks like a slightly larger and more rounded version of the 2008 edition.
November 2, 201311 yr Two Airborne, two.. normal Troopers. -Sci I know that It will came with 2 and 2,but I tried to say that I would prefeer it with 3 and 1 :) Sometimes my english is not good enough sorry.
November 2, 201311 yr I do like that pilot printing a lot. It is unfortunate that you will need to buy multiples of this and switch out the helmets to keep them looking the same. The printing LEGO does these days is great, but it also kind of takes away from where they used to be. It is harder and harder to mix old/new figures due to the printing differences.
November 2, 201311 yr Oh come on, they changed it again!!! I just bought a a couple of the new design to fit out my old rebel pilots... Pff, whats the point in collecting the min figures if the change "every" wave!! If they where always the same, it would be pointless to collect them dont you think? they are just toys, dont take it so seriously, besides is allways good to have something new dont you think? imagine if we still had those ugly CW clones on this wave.
November 2, 201311 yr I just hope LEGO doesn't overprint the figures. Sometimes it just gets too "noisy." There should never be an instance where all the legs, arms, front and back are printed. that greatly reduces interchangeability: a tenet LEGO prides themselves on. I say, for some great and "one-time-only figures," print away. but for a stormtrooper? KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).
November 2, 201311 yr Posting this again, for convenience's sake... Personally, I like the mold and printing of the trooper's helm. Looks like the pilot has two faces! Any guesses at to what the other one is? Probably just a plain face so he doesn't look constipated all the time.
November 2, 201311 yr I want more printing - arm printing is common with the collectible figures and I want that expanded to all ranges. Why not? Cost is negligible for lego but set prices are going up. Lego knows mini figs sell sets - take it up a gear. The 'interchangeability' argument is utterly daft - there are limitless plain mini fig parts and one would not seriously claim that arm printing on a storm trooper would reduce the already zero transferability, surely?
November 2, 201311 yr I can't believe the level of detail that minifigures have these days! They look fantastic, but part of me hopes we've reached the apex of hyper-detailed minifigures. Adding arm prints to the Rebel pilot minifigure would almost be too much.
November 2, 201311 yr One month to go till the summer retailer catalog will be out ... SO eXcited :D Excellent! I hope we will get some nice OT sets! Edited November 2, 201311 yr by Robert_88
November 2, 201311 yr One month to go till the summer retailer catalog will be out ... SO eXcited :D And to think, we don't even have the official pictures of the winter wave yet!
November 2, 201311 yr One month to go till the summer retailer catalog will be out ... SO eXcited :D Please tell me this is a guaranteed date? thanks man
November 2, 201311 yr Please tell me this is a guaranteed date? thanks man We will see the list in Dec for sure .
November 2, 201311 yr The phase II clone troopers are really well done considering they re-used the same mold of the clone wars version. the exposed "skin" at the bottom of the helmet is off putting, it would look better with the neck part of the Lego head painted black to represent part for the troopers glove suit as it is so called in the films. We will see the list in Dec for sure . thanks heaps nrg!! something to put on the "looking forward to" calender .

Just use the scout trooper head :) Anyone else noticed the torso of the phase 1 and 2 is the same so the printed legs can be used to give the new phase 1's a more finished look

Any guesses at to what the other one is? Probably just a plain face so he doesn't look constipated all the time. I'm in love with the pilot. Too bad the set he comes in is really lame imo. For the clone, like everyone else has said, I really wish there wasn't that skin wasn't noticeable. Seriously inexcusable, why didn't they just use the new stormtrooper/scout trooper head?
November 2, 201311 yr One month to go till the summer retailer catalog will be out ... SO eXcited :D So does that mean we will get the rumoured list of summer sets?! I am really hoping for Cloud City, Mos Eisley Cantina, and Jango's Slave 1.

Im not saying they should stay the same, but changing them every wave, really every wave... Thats a little over the top. It means they already have the new design for the next wave, when they bring out the current wave. Thats just not right! Just use the scout trooper head :) Anyone else noticed the torso of the phase 1 and 2 is the same so the printed legs can be used to give the new phase 1's a more finished look Was planning to do the same thing. November 3, 201311 yr I really freakin' hope the AT-AT Collector Series rumor is true. Probably isn't... I'd buy like 2 of them. Still mainly waiting for the next Collectors Millennium Falcon but I figure that's not going to happen for years. :(

Still mainly waiting for the next Collectors Millennium Falcon but I figure that's not going to happen for years. :( After the success of the UCS Falcon I think an updated version would fly off the shelves in a very short space of time but I, like you, would be picking that up sharpish! I just think it will be a way off... How long was it between X-Wings? I think a UCS Slave 1 is more likely although after 2 recent UCS OT releases I'm not sure the next one will be. I'm expecting the regular summer wave to be very OT orientated and Bespin and Tatooine are ripe for sets... Probably the most neglected areas of the Trilogy for TLG. While complete conjecture may be off topic a little (and I apologise for this) but Cantina with Ponda Baba, Dr Evazan, Momaw Nadon, new Greedo and Cantina Band as well as Cloud City with Lando and Cloud Car Pilot (or a variation of those figs) are very high on my wish list... A Yavin IV briefing with Jan Dodonna, Garvin Dreis and maybe a rebel technician/guard would be great! I'm actually lost a little for what else they'd put out that wouldn't be very repetitive. I'd read a rumor back in August on one of those other Lego blogs that we'd maybe be getting a new Darth Vader's Advanced TIE-Fighter set. Would love it to be true, as I currently have two of the most recent TIE-Fighters to act as his escort!
November 3, 201311 yr A Vader Tie Advanced UCS would certainly makes for some serious 'swooshing' with a Red Five!
