to me it looks like the at-at is mostly identical to the one we got in 2010 besides the minifigures. I quite like the star destroyer and the cantina though. I think because of the angle of the picture theres a bit more to the cantina we cant see.

Hopefully the hinged section of the cantina we can't see will contain the bar itself.

Is that a picture of the Ghost below the AT-AT?

The ISD looks like very similar to the 6211, same basic build.

Good catch on that set possibly being the Ghost. The set number is blurry so I can't be certain on the last number.

I was thinking the new ISD looked similar to 6211, which I already have. If we're getting a completely new Vader minifig, I may go the Bricklink route.

I doesn't look like the AT-AT or Star Destroyer in the images are any different from the old ones (8129 and 6211 respectively), so they're just 'placeholders' for the new versions (hopefully!). The new Mos Eisley set looks a little dissapointing but I've been fooled by prelims before, so I'll reserve judgement until the final images appear!

The Mos Eisley cantina really reminds me of the old set just expanded out with an entry area and possibly the band's section to play in, even with the same landspeeder. The new Dewback will be welcome though.

Im sure that is a photo distortion on the AT-AT legs, but as these are prelims, it will all be different in the final version. Goody the Stormtroopers have leg printing

We can hope, but the plates on the ISD are a bit different from 6211, and those green laser beams look like they are from the new spring loaded shooters. :cry_sad:

Honestly, I don't care about the Mos Eisley Cantina BUILD, I'm all about those Minifigures!!

If there's 2 Band Members in a set, then I'm buying at least 3 sets :) Also, I'm getting that Jek-14 set for the Ithorian Jedi Master to customize a Hammerhead for my Cantina. Now, if we can just get Snaggletooth, Duros, Ponda Baba and Dr Evazon, I can cobble a great display together :) So stoked to finally get a Greedo after missing out on the last one.

I fear this may not be a correct assumption. Especially when you look at the star destroyer, you notice sole differences. On this version, plates with studless parts have been used. The section under the bridge contains more layers too. On the ATAT, I can spot almost no differences, except for the lasers (spring loaded missiles).

I still hope the ATAT is a placeholder, but I think the SD looks fine already. We'll see...

Is it possible the SD is from Star Wars Rebels because all the minifigs listed seem to be new? Also, why is lego wasting set space with another Jek-14 set, that's nearly exactly the same as the last we got him in? I mean honestly we could have gotten a Wookiee Catamaran or something like that instead of this and put the Ithorian in the Cantina set and the RA-7 Droid in the Imperial Star Destroyer and call it an Imperial RA-7 Droid, lego is really starting to piss me off.

Sounds like a fairly dull wave to me :/ here's my thoughts

Phantom - Probably some sort of fighter from Rebels, likely another x-wing rip off. I think its a rebel ship seeing as phantom is a synonym for ghost

Thank you, you just made the lightbulb go off for me regarding what the Phantom is. The Phantom is a hero ship. It is a mini fighter that is carried by the Ghost. Chances are the Phantom model will be designed to attach to the Ghost. It is a sort of wedge shaped fighter that slides into the upper rear of the ghost just above the main engines. It is white or light grey with yellow markings in the concept art.

The upper right picture in that link shows the Phantom docked in its bay.

yeah.. seems they are not giving up on the yoda chronicles... thats a shame... the list is cool but have to damit i was hoping for some CW sets from the story arcs that are going to be released early this year to kind of finish it of.

The AT AT in the picture is the 8129 with some photoshopped changes. I know the 8129 like the back of my hand. Just relax. Take a deep breath. There will be changes.

Be reasonable people. Squidward is in mos eisley and clone trooper helmets on snowtroopers. Some times as a company you want to convey an idea without revealing all your cards.

My only problem is the Snowspeeder. I would much rather have a new and updated AT-ST

I know that its last release was in '09, but considering the most recent AT-ST design and the most recent T-47 design, I'd say the latter is in much more need of a redesign.

Honestly, I don't care about the Mos Eisley Cantina BUILD, I'm all about those Minifigures!!

Agreed.

If you look at the at at picture, you will notice to the right of it a storm trooper piloting the ghost. I'm assuming that the trooper will be a placeholder for a new pilot mold or generic pilot with helmet perhaps?

Might grab the Star Destroyer and AT AT if they look really good at Toy Fair. I currently don't own any variation of them and would very much like to get them this time around.

Figures I would want the priciest two sets.

Cantina is a pass, but man is that a preliminary photo.

Definitely excited for the cantina. I've been wanting a more accurate version of Luke's landspeeder, hopefully the final version is new rather than including the old one again (But I don't think Lego would be that lazy, at the very least they'd make some improvements). The dome piece for the roof is interesting to say the least. I hope that in the final version it is tan. I would assume that's likely, tan would be a new color for that piece I think, so it wouldn't appear in the prelim as the part doesn't exist yet. Honestly this looks to be the perfect remake to the last cantina set we got.

Am I imagining it or is the leg printing changed on Luke so that he has white shoes?

The exclusives are most likely PT/CW sets. Some of the Micro Fighters might be too. So not all that worried. Lego still needs to release some more clone commanders. Perhaps a new AT-OT is in the works?

and I have no sympathy for the PT/CW crowd wishing for more clones, there must be a gazillion different variants available now.

Yeah but, You can't have clones without commanders, and we still need updated 327th clones. And we actually need some more variants. Commandos, Cold Assaults, 442nd, Cody, Bly, Wolffe, Fox, Phase 2 ARCs, all to help expand our clone armies to be the most epic. And I don't have that big an army. I really need some more clones.
