January 18, 201411 yr I've been looking into lego star wars again since yesterday and I noticed a lot of new packs which is awesome. Will there be a new snow speeder this year? I've been wanting to get one for a long time now.
January 18, 201411 yr That's what I was wondering. Then again, my opinion is that ESB Luke should use the same hair as ROTJ Luke, while ANH Luke can keep the longer hair. Whether or not LEGO thinks the same, I'm not sure. I'm hoping we get Endor Luke, with his green poncho. Covered to other variants, that's the one I think we're least likely to see in a set, and it's more likely to please the most people. I think Medical Frigate is even more unlikely. At least Endor Luke can still show up in a new Imperial Shuttle or Endor themed set. Plus Endor Leia also needs an update and we still haven't gotten Endor Han yet. I prefer getting the trio together rather than being separate exclusive releases.

I've been wanting to get one for a long time now. Actually yes. There is a new system scale Snowspeeder in the Summer wave release. You may also be able to still find the Battle for Hoth set http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=75014-1 still on some store shelves which has the current version of it in it. They seem to keep an ever slowly evolving version of this size Snowspeeder pretty consistently out there every two or three years. This summer will also have a new ATAT to go along with it. Sadly no signs of a new version of the UCS scale one on the horizon.

Guess i'll wait and see how the new snowspeeder looks, What do you mean with a new system scale system snowspeeder? Is it a different size then the others?
January 18, 201411 yr What do you mean with a new system scale system snowspeeder? Is it a different size then the others? System scale is the term for normal minifigure based size (so to answer your question, no it is not different). Personally, I'd just wait until the new Snowspeeder comes out as it will be almost impossible to find the Battle of Hoth set at this point. Plus this version will actually include two pilots! What a concept Edited January 18, 201411 yr by montyofmusic
January 18, 201411 yr Are we sure that the T-47 is System-scale? The kiddiwinks page has been taken down, but I remember that there was something in parentheses after its set name there that had something to do with vehicles. I can't remember exactly what that was, but for whatever reason, it led me to write down in the first post that it might be a Microfighter.

I hope I'm wrong. I would love a mini snowspeeder, I already plan to get 75014 next month.
January 18, 201411 yr Yes it's with the yoda chronicles book.. The helmet mold is storm trooper? Why??
January 18, 201411 yr It's TLGs chose for the special forces clone troopers, the blue version in JEK14's starfighter had stormtrooper helmet too, I think it looks great, gives a whole different look for clone troops. But if I go with your theory it would be better, I only have the first blocky snowspeeder (which is still my favourite) which was grey and it looks better in grey IMO. Is it a different size then the others? A-tembo has a Wampa Cave on their website which includes a Snowspeeder, and they had a Battle of Hoth set in their Delft store this past week. The Battle of Hoth is not on their website, but they had at least one box on the shelf in-store. It might be worth taking a look or calling the store to see if they still have it.
January 18, 201411 yr After looking carefully the Cantina's photo we own,I have several conclusions: We are actually getting three musicians. The cantina, when it's closed, will have unfortunately a open area in the bar zone, and that's dissapointment. The general structure is not bad at all,It recreates well the Spirit of Mos Eley. But It would have been better if it had been bigger and with more site for put minifigures like tables. In other hand,I expect a better snowspeeder, and actually accurate to the movie. Bye!
January 18, 201411 yr Has anyone considered the possibility of an Episode 7 Luke for the Visual Dictionary?
January 18, 201411 yr After looking carefully the Cantina's photo we own,I have several conclusions: We are actually getting three musicians.. Bye! I highly doubt it. Two yes, three no. TLG would be limiting the scenes you could create, which is,one of the main selling points of the set. The squidward on the left has lighter colored pants which I believe indicates a different figure. Personally I'm hoping for Ponda Baba.

January 18, 201411 yr I'm a little sick of everyone bashing the prequel trilogy. They are utterly mind-blowingly fantastic films. And no, I'm not joking. They're a fantastic trilogy and tragedy (I'm not misspelling any words). The way Palpatine manipulates anakin is so cool, and there's so many awesome action sequences. As awesome as the original trilogy is, I think the prequels surpass episodes IV-VI. This thread proves there isn't too much CGI in the prequel trilogy, except for maybe the clones http://boards.theforce.net/threads/practical-effects-in-the-prequels-sets-pictures-models-etc.50017310/ Anyway, that's why I'm a little disappointed with how there most likely will never be a UCS podracer set, or at-te, or eta-2 class interceptors, or geonosian battle arena with the three monsters, or Slave I Jango version, or a venator. But still, this wave looks cool. Edited January 18, 201411 yr by OBI-WAN37

January 18, 201411 yr So much LOL and SMH in this post. http://boards.thefor...s-etc.50017310/ If you think the prequels had too much CGI, check that thread. And besides, although I never really payed enough attention (what with my abnormaly short attention span), I'm pretty sure it's universally agreed by people who understood the films that the way Palpatine manipulated the senate was awesome. And Anakin turning to the dark side is so moving. Edited January 18, 201411 yr by OBI-WAN37

Just ask Mr Plinkett :) Check out the RedLetterMedia reviews for a perfect review of the atrocious prequels.
