January 28, 201411 yr My french isn't as good as it used to be but they wrote "no photos allowed in Nürnberg", didn't they? :( Indeed; they won't allow pictures to be taken at the stand.I think we can conclude that there will be a new mold for the body of droid 'chopper'. In the text it also states that (at least) the boxes (for Rebels) Star Wars sets will come in the so called 'rebels' packaging: Edited January 28, 201411 yr by HJR
January 28, 201411 yr Close up http://starwarsblog....-toy-fair-2014/ "LEGO — Unlike Hasbro, almost everything LEGO has to offer for 2014 was on display at their booth, the only exception being a couple of direct LEGO exclusives that will be available in May and September." January 28, 201411 yr A new Stormtrooper helmet would be a wasted mold! I don't think they would mold another st helmet, just a newer print for the show. But I hope it stays the same, I don't want varying troops among my already little army, I want uniformity.
January 28, 201411 yr "LEGO — Unlike Hasbro, almost everything LEGO has to offer for 2014 was on display at their booth, the only exception being a couple of direct LEGO exclusives that will be available in May and September." That Inquisitor figure that Hasbro is releasing has the same amount of articulation as a LEGO minifigure. I don't think they would mold another st helmet, just a newer print for the show. But I hope it stays the same, I don't want varying troops among my already little army, I want uniformity. I gave up on uniform troopers a long time ago. Minifigs are starting to be rehashed as often as the sets. Someone can go crazy trying to build a uniform army. Edited January 28, 201411 yr by Sir_Basil_Ashton

These struck me as the most interesting from the blog entry: Jedi Hunter Frontier (set #75051, $69.99, 490 pieces) — This is the only set for 2014 from the continuing Yoda Chronicles. It features JEK-14 along with Hammerhead, RA-7 protocol droid, and an astromech. AT-AT (set #75054, $119.99, 1,138 pieces) — The snowspeeder needs a companion piece and the AT-AT is the perfect match; it seems a little bit smaller than previous releases but comes with five minifigures, including AT-AT Driver, General Veers, Snowtrooper Commander, and two Snowtroopers. Imperial Star Destroyer (set #75055, $149.99) — This set looks incredible, and much more stable than the previous release. It also features six minifigures including Darth Vader, two Stormtroopers, and three Imperial Officers, as well as a highly detailed Emperor Palpatine hologram microfigure!
January 28, 201411 yr So regular SW sets will have our ever so friendly Darth Vader on the box art and Rebels box art has a new Stormie with a cracked helmet.....must be one tough trooper eh ?

Are they going to include 3x imperial officers, or are they counting the crew figure and navy figure as officers too?
January 28, 201411 yr Are they going to include 3x imperial officers, or are they counting the crew figure and navy figure as officers too? Bearing in mind the preliminary box artwork, my guess would be the latter.
January 28, 201411 yr Looking forward to the Rebels sets, feel like its Macquarrie designed lego if he could've have made it, seeing as most of the show is inspired from his sketches of that era...
January 28, 201411 yr I guess this emphasises how early on in the preliminary stage the pictures in the catalog were. The Rebels sets look to be great, the Phantom looks a little small, but that's no surprise for £20. £70 for the Ghost is a really pleasant surprise! Though obviously it's due to Lego selling the Phantom/Wolf separately, here's hoping the latter can dock on the former.
January 28, 201411 yr According to 1000steine.de (whose staff already had the pleasure to see the sets), there's no photography allowed, not even for the unlicensed themes it seems One the bright side, TLG will allegdedly update their German facebook page with bits of information and pictures (though there's nothing new to see yet): https://www.facebook.com/LEGOGermany Hopefully photography is still allowed in NY If they were to change that policy it'd be like canceling Christmas
January 28, 201411 yr I'm loving the (somewhat blurry) look of the Ghost! This is the first Star Wars set that I have had any real interest in for a few years. just hope those aren't huge stickers on either side of the cockpit. That new B-wing looks good, almost good enough to add it to my 2006 version. Good thing there isn't any LOTR sets this summer. It gives me some more wiggle room in the Lego budget.
January 28, 201411 yr Mos Eisley Cantina I don't quite get the Cantina and its build. When fold up, it must be a strange sight having the door on the inside across the bar. Plus the new entrance is behind the bar then? Or can we just assume there will be another cantina add-on, just to have a real cantina when fold up? (<-- wishfull thinking ). But if the door part is only meant to be in a 90degrees mode, there is a gap between the bar-part and the entrance. The description did mention sliding floors, so maybe they're used for that gap?
January 28, 201411 yr I wonder what the snow trooper commander looks like.. And can't wait for the rebel sets so I can get more storm troopers...
January 28, 201411 yr Not sure if anyone showed this before from the new SW microfighter animation, but could this be the new Dewback?
January 28, 201411 yr Some close-up pictures of the two Rebels sets (and a video) have been posted on Hothbricks: http://www.hothbrick...mberg-toy-fair/ The Phantom is quite cute I have to say, it almost looks like one of the Microfighters And it appears they use bricks to block off (*pun*) the minifigs on the box Edited January 28, 201411 yr by Lego-Freak
January 28, 201411 yr Atamaii.tv has posted a video about the Rebels sets! Keep an eye on his channel for videos about the Toy Fair! EDIT: Video won't embed.. but these figures look cool! -Sci Edited January 28, 201411 yr by CM4S
January 28, 201411 yr Those figures at least look like they'll be in line with regular figures and not the CW anime style. The Phantom actually looks better in these recent shots than the previous image... or at least that's how my brain in receiving things! I think this wave is looking pretty mint... and a couple of changes to the mini fig line up would make it spot on for me as an OT fan. As I've missed out on SD, Cantina, B-Wing, AT-AT and Sandcrawler in the past I'll be picking them all up thank you very much! I'm holding judgment on the Rebels stuff until I've seen the source material. If I like the cartoon then I'll probably pick those up too.
January 28, 201411 yr No CW-style faces, yeay! I wonder what species the character inside the bubble turret is supposed to be, looks like a new one
January 28, 201411 yr Not sure if anyone showed this before from the new SW microfighter animation, but could this be the new Dewback? It was mentioned for about month now
