One of the employees in the official Lego store in Belgium told me they'll be offering the new SW sets from December 27th..

Yeah they have a special event that start on 27 December, you can fill up a box in the pick a brick wall for free during the time of the event.

Oh right, didn't think about that (and I even have 5 of those boxes here ready and waiting). :classic:

There's 1 guy there that's really into Star Wars but I don't know his name, he's the one that told me about Dec 27th for the new sets.

Is there any sort of way to obtain any information on the piece count of the sets? Being in Europe none of the boxes have any of this info.

They're listed on a dutch toy store website ( Bart Smit) as:

75034 - Death Star Troopers - 100pcs

75035 - Kashyyyk Troopers - 99pcs

75036 - Utapau Troopers - 83pcs

75037 - Battle on Saleucami - 178pcs

75038 - Jedi Interceptor - 223pcs

75039 - V-Wing Starfighter - 201pcs

75040 - General Grievous Wheel Bike - 261pcs

75041 - Vulture Droid - 205pcs

75042 - Droid Gunship - 439pcs

75043 - AT-AP - 717pcs

75045 - Republic AV-7 Anti-Vehicle Cannon 434pcs

New sets are available in France as well, that's no news, but what is, is that I've seen even 3 of the Microfighters sold at Toysrus today. The retail price of these is 9€99 (apologies for not the best quality photo, poor lighting & phone camera...), AT-AP is sold for 79€99, Grivious Wheelbike for 29€99 and the BPs for 15€99...

Thanks for sharing the price on the Microfighters. The price is definitely overpriced for me.

I agree. 1 euro less would still be like :hmpf_bad:. 2 euros less would be appropriate given the content.

Was it only new Star Wars, or did they have other 2014 sets? Also, did they have the Police Gunship?

No, they had Lego Movie sets as well, as for the others I don't know, I follow only SW, sorry

No, no Police Gunship or the tri-fighter, it's probably going to be a later release...

i might get the utapau troopers set just for the airborne helmets...i wish they used the old template and stuff fir the ep3 troopers. especially the kashyyyk troopers

Dunno, 10 bucks seems alright. The X-wing has at least 80 pieces that I can count so it's not so bad imo.

And it is a surprisingly complex build considering how small the ship is, and it is fun. Of course, the main attraction is the pilot, the best X-Wing pilot up to date - amazing print details.

That is what I did.

Hi all looks like I am very late to the party, apologies about that. Its nice to see pictures on the sets, the new droid that comes in one of the battle packs looks very tempting so ill definitely be getting that! The microcfighters also look like a tempting line.

Hi

i dont mind the 10€$ privetag. The planes are 12,99€ MRSP and now, on sale while they have been half a year on the shelf they go for 7€... If that happens, a microfighter sett for 6-7€ that would be great. Unique fig and some useful parts, at least mor useful than the plant sets have been.

You're not the only one.. Love all the Kashyyyk sets, but I'm disappointed at the lack of OT and EU.

It appears there was a teaser in Lego Advent Calendar online game about a new Lego Dewback! If you find succesfully all the bricks and complete a calendar vehicle for the last 4 weeks (each week unlocking a different Microfighter) you unlock a short video featuring a race between Han Solo's MF and Imperial Officer in his ISD. At one point, they pass next to a Dewback that looks highly polished and ready for a set release. So, Mos Eiseley Cantina anyone?
