Lego Spy Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Wait a minute Lego, have you been listening to all our whining for a Mos Eisley Cantina set? Thanks! (I sure hope this is real! ) Quote
Super Brick Collector Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 That summer list looking good. But I'll wait for Nyc toy fair. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 The list seems plausible to me. Couple Rebels sets, plenty of OT sets leading up to the Episode VII release. Do we have any knowledge of a "Jedi Hunter" in Rebels? It seems vaguely familiar to me as a CW/PT-era concept, but obviously it could also definitely fit into Rebels. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 We'll with the dewback pics a few pages back this definately makes a lot of sense, some of the sets on there must be from the rebels show also. There have been a couple of images surface for the Inquisitor character also. Still hope we get the sandcrawler as I missed that last time around. Quote

If there is in fact a UCS/Exclusive Sandcrawler, shops like this probably wouldn't have any info on it, so the fact that it isn't in the list doesn't really change what we know about it. (Other than the fact that the content of the list might lend a tiny bit more credibility to the claim that we're getting a Tatooine-based UCS/Exclusive set.) Quote
korpen4444 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 No Clone Wars? No PT sets? I could use some OT sets though. But, not happy. 75049 - Snowspeeder 278 pieces 10455 HUF~30-40 EUR 75050 - B-wing 448 pieces 15815 HUF ~ 50-60 EUR 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina 615 pieces 21260 HUF ~ 70-80 EUR 75054 - AT-AT :classic: 1138 pieces 32655 HUF ~ 110EUR 75055 - Imperial Star Destroyer :classic: 36285HUF ~ 120EUR I like these though. wesker Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 The snowspeeder seems a bit pointless when we got one not long ago in Battle of Hoth, but everything else looks good. Quote
Faefrost Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 75048 - Phantom 6855HUF~20-30 EUR 75049 - Snowspeeder 278 pieces 10455 HUF~30-40 EUR 75050 - B-wing 448 pieces 15815 HUF ~ 50-60 EUR 75051 - Jedi Hunter 490 pieces 17715 HUF 60-70 EUR 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina 615 pieces 21260 HUF ~ 70-80 EUR 75053 - The Ghost piece number unknown yet 26090 HUF ~ 90-100 EUR 75054 - AT-AT :classic: 1138 pieces 32655 HUF ~ 110EUR 75055 - Imperial Star Destroyer :classic: 36285HUF ~ 120EUR Mos Eisley! At long last. I'm also kinda stoked for The Ghost of all things. I would love something about the same size and scale and such as my 7965 to balance out the shelf. I've always been bummed that they never made an Outrider. If this list is correct, than my guess is right. Next wave is all OT and Rebels in order to start getting folks prepped for SW VII. Quote
The Executive Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 75048 - Phantom 6855HUF~20-30 EUR 75049 - Snowspeeder 278 pieces 10455 HUF~30-40 EUR 75050 - B-wing 448 pieces 15815 HUF ~ 50-60 EUR 75051 - Jedi Hunter 490 pieces 17715 HUF 60-70 EUR 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina 615 pieces 21260 HUF ~ 70-80 EUR 75053 - The Ghost piece number unknown yet 26090 HUF ~ 90-100 EUR 75054 - AT-AT :classic: 1138 pieces 32655 HUF ~ 110EUR 75055 - Imperial Star Destroyer :classic: 36285HUF ~ 120EUR I'll take another AT AT over another turbo tank any day. I hope the new AT AT is not downsized like the last one. I'd gladly pay more for a larger one. I really hope the Cantina comes with the band and that guy who gets his arm cut off. As for the 2014 winter wave sets being delayed in the US, for shame Lego. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 No Clone Wars? No PT sets? I could use some OT sets though. But, not happy. I like these though. What have you got to be not happy about?! Just look at the past umpteen waves brought out. Barely any OT at all. Its about time CW/PT was given a break! Quote
exxtrooper Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Finally a new AT-AT! Never had the chance to buy any of its past incarnations, even considered paying a lot for some of the old versions, good news in my book Quote
DarthPotato Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Cool rumor list. I think this should make fans of both trilogies in Star Wars happy now since this winter wave will be mainly PT and the summer wave will be mainly OT. Mos Eisley Cantina is incredible though, I can see a lot of potential for that especially because it's over 600 pieces. I can easily see the Dewback in that set with a new Greedo and maybe even Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan. Something to note is that it might be possible the Star Destroyer's based off of Rebels. Oh, also, I for one was fine with TCW minifigure heads, but here's to hoping the Rebel figures have normal heads! Quote

The list indicates 1138 pieces for the AT-AT. That set has more pieces than every other AT-AT made by Lego. The first one (4483) has 1052 pieces, the motorized (10178) has 1121 pieces and the last downsized one (8129), 782 pieces. Therefore, I don't believe it will be downsized like the last one. Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Ugh...another Snowspeeder?? Why?! But Mos Eisley Cantina!!!! Can't wait for it!! I really hope it's a decent size, though. That piece count has me a bit concerned. Quote
namioik Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 We got.... -Jabba's Palace w/ Rancor Pit -Ewok Village -"rumored" Cantina what are we missing now? Cloud City right? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Ugh...another Snowspeeder?? Why?! They'd better update that old, overused, inaccurate T-47 design this time... Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 We got.... -Jabba's Palace w/ Rancor Pit -Ewok Village -"rumored" Cantina what are we missing now? Cloud City right? As far as major OT locations go, yes. I'd also LOVE to see Dagobah revisited. Quote
rollermonkey Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Ugh...another Snowspeeder?? Why?! Is this not the midi-scale snowspeeder? Quote

Sir Brickalot Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Oh....my.... 2014's just begun but we already have a summer rumours list?! Cool! Quote
legocaptainrexfan Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I'm so gad we get the cantina and the star destroyer!!!!! Quote

It's surprising that we're getting a system-scale B-Wing after the incredibly short lifespan of the UCS version & I'm not sure why we need yet another Snowspeeder. However, the AT-AT, Star Destroyer and Mos Eisley all sound really promising.....we only need a Cloud City next year and my life will be finally complete! Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Interesting list......The Ghost......The main ship in Rebels is the Ghost, a light freighter with a similar look and feel to the classic Millennium Falcon, with a cockpit inspired by a WW2 B-17 bomber. (it's fantastic what you can dig up on the internet) Next is Phantom..........I can assume that might belong to The Inquisitor......I believe a nice guy who's hobby is hunting down Jedi ! Quote
