wesker Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Here comes some more info and please, dont ask me to send photos ;) Snoowspeeder - gray version, seems little to wide for me, includes 3 minifigs - snowtrooper, 2 pilots and snowtrooper cannon B-Wing - seems little to short and too wide for me, includes 3 minifigs - pilot, something like mechanician and unidentified minifig (tan outfit, bald) The Ghost - size of Jedi Defender set, lokks like it will be lite, but it's just preliminary, includes 4 minifigs one of which seems to be Twi'lek ISD- looks got for me, definitely progress, includes 5 minifigs - Vader, Death Star Trooper, Imperial in black outfit, stormtrooper, and unidentified imperial. Phantom - Red-White ship, something in shape of Pre Vizsla's starfighter, includes 4 minifigs - astromech, jedi(?), stoormtrooper with lightsabre, and something with head of Ree Yees. Thanks for the descriptions. I'm a little disapointed by the absence of certain characters this year. No updated Palpatine or Grand Moff Tarkin in the Star Destroyer? No Lando and Nien Numb in the B-Wing? No Princess Leia period? Quote
Robert_88 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks for the info! I interested in the new ISD, AT-AT and Cantina. I missed the old versions and I'm already very exited about this wave! :) Quote

Thanks for the information! I'm pretty disappointed with these sets to be honest, it seems as though lego put more effort into the winter wave and at the last minute through together the summer wave. This is probably due to Star Wars Rebels though, since news of it most likely broke after lego alreaady design this year's winter wave. By the way Pablo94, what woul you say the price points of all the sets are from looking at the pictures? Quote
Super Brick Collector Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Weird! Could be stand-in for inquisitor Quote

LFY1547 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) New catalogue includes photo of new ISD. Love it! [snip] Interesting. I love the photo, especially Yoda :D Edited January 18, 2014 by Brickdoctor Please don't quote images. Quote
ChiefPie Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Um Cool when is it out in the US? Edited January 16, 2014 by ChiefPie Quote
just2good Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Um Cool when is it out in the US? Are you talking about the Winter 2014 wave of sets? They're coming out in March according to the official LEGO website. Quote
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 They took down all of the new sets off of the products page on the united states lego website... I fear the worst (March ) Really? But those new sets like microfighters were not listed on USA site, Lego Movie is priority. Quote
Galaxy Explorer Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Nice nod to Ralph McQuarrie with the Stormtrooper holding a Lightsaber. I'm not sure if I'll collect any Rebels sets- I generally stick to the films. So naturally I'm very happy to hear about the B-Wing and Snowspeeder. I know it's the millionth redesign, but it would be wise to have one widely available to battle the AT-AT. Quote

As much as I'd love the "Twi'lek" minifigure to be Ahsoka as this confirms her appearances in the Rebels tv show, Ahsoka isn't a Twi'lek, she is in fact a member of the Togruta species from the planet Shili, not the Twi'leks from Ryloth. I'm sure that the Twi'lek minifigure is in fact a Twi'lek and will probably be one of the "Rebels" in the show. If you watch Star Wars enough times include the PT, OT and the CW you'll find that Twi'leks are probably the most common species in the galaxy apart from humans. I'd love for it to be Ahsoka as that means we'll being seeing more of her outside of the Clone Wars, however I stay by my original thought that it can't be her as the figure shown in the pictures is the wrong species from Ahsoka. Cwetqo Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I think that we will ALL get those three sets... :) I'm really looking forward to ISD. I missed 6211 during my dark time and since for ISD is THE ultimate SW ship, I was waiting for this last few years. And it seems even better, with new hinge syste, which makes it possible to have narrower side openings. Quote
TheBear Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 B-Wing - unidentified minifig (tan outfit, bald) I'm intrigued by this, could it be a Rebel Alliance officer / technician from Home One? But then it should have a cap. Or could it possibly be.. Prune Face!? Quote

kr-lik Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Not sure if this was posted before but... maybe the Phantom is: http://www.swtor.com/holonet/starships/x-70b-phantom ? Quote

Infernum Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Personally, I'm looking forward to the Rebels sets most. The JEK set might be cool too... Quote
montgocloud Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Though Prune Face would be an excellent to display with the Home One playset, I personally hope that it'll be Ten Numb to be completely honest. Also, it's great that we're getting a generic mechanic and a pilot! Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Again?? And what version could this possibly be? Frankly, I didn't expect a brand-new character, but this is really weak Edit: Maybe it's Dagobah Luke, the last time we got that version was in 2003 Edited January 16, 2014 by Lego-Freak Quote
Seaber Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Luke could be in the Poncho (IV), Recovery Robes (V) or Black Jumpsuit (VI), which I think are the only outfits not in Lego form yet. Or it could be a re-release of an old one. Dagobah, Cloud City and Endor have been absent the longest. Quote
pranas Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Hopefully a poncho, Bespin, Dagobah, or hospital gown (at the end of ESB) Luke. I'm hoping for hospital gown Luke, since poncho, Bespin, and Dagobah Lukes would have a good shot at appearing in an actual future set someday down the line. I hope LEGO wouldn't be lame or lazy and give us a version we've gotten recently and just stick the new Luke hair on it. Like a Luke as Stormtrooper with new Luke hair, bleh! Also find it funny that all the sets on the cover will most likely still be in stores when the book comes out. "Hey, kids! Get your parents to buy this book and everything on the cover!" Quote
