It would be helpful if you took a little bit more time to compose your posts, this really doesn't make any sense Anyway, it's great news that Greedo will be included in Mos Eisley. Hopefully the new version won't be too different from the old one, which I've always liked but refused to pay a ridiculous price for!

I've actually taken a lot of time to think this through. What LEGO needs to do is make Vader's helmet/mask/breather a three piece deal. Basically, the breather needs to sit around his neck, like how beards or armour attaches to figs. Then, the mask could cover his face and the top of his head, leaving the back exposed. Finally, have the helmet attach via a small peg (much like Tonto's bird) into the top bit of the mask. All together, it would look nice and detailed, but also add a whole new dimension of detail to the fig.

I personally don't get the Advent Calendars because where I live they're never in store and I can't find them for a reasonable pric online so I pass on those sets. Reading that you're convinced that the Santa Trooper is a Phase II Clone Trooper, I find myself not as convinced as you. Although the first half of this year was and is heavily based of Ep. III RotS filled with many Phase II Clones, I don't think that will be the figure. Looking at last years Ep. II AotC based Calendar you can see that it was released/revealed with all the other Ep. II sets. This years calendar will e released along with several Original Trilogy Sets. I think that the Santa Trooper will either be a Stormtrooper or a Snow Trooper to go along with the Imperial themed or Hoth themed sets that we are expected to get later this year. While the Cantina is an Ep. IV set it is certain that the Snowspeeder, AT-AT and ISD will most definitely be from ESB. I think I Santa Hat wearing Snow trooper would be quite fitting.

Exactly, only smaller. Maybe the silver and black armour that rests on his upper chest could be part of this piece, as a way of both adding more detail and keeping the breather secure around the neck (so it doesn't spin around his neck).

Well I personally wouldn't like his helmet in pieces just incase they get very loose one day and couldnt put it back without it falling off

I like the advent calendars but I don't celebrate christmas, so I don't usually buy them. That being said, this calendar has to be the bomb for me to even consider getting it for the figs.

Have to agree. I guess I'm in the minority when it comes to some of the minifigs. I like Vader how he is, one helmet. Looks pretty good to me as it is, maybe it's just me. It seems like to many small detailed pieces as it becomes a mini action figure. But to each his own. So with the Bith's heads in the Cantina, hard plastic?

This isn't real. The three part helmet is just an idea I've had for a while. The Vader included in the ISD should have the regular helmet.

piece wise, the motorized version from 2007 was the largest. with 1137 pieces. which means the new at-at will beat it by ONE piece. although in terms of actual size, I'm not sure. I only own the 2010 version with 815 pieces.

And you have to remember that the 2010 version came with that satellite gun thingy.

I'm quite certain that the EU stuff was specifically designed to make people hate things they previously loved (just like George Lucas intended)

Reading any wookipedia page makes my skin crawl. The only information I need about Star Wars can be obtained by watching the original trilogy. Anything else just seems like terrible fanfiction.

I actually think a new helmet piece would work well for Vader, and I was always expecting his next update to come with one. If he doesn't have one and just has new torso printing I'm not really sure how new he'll be. I also really wish they made the Santa Vader's helmet red in the advent calendar (I think it's just appeared black in preliminaries, right? Or is it definitely going to be black?).

I agree that it's disappointing we don't get Ponda Baba or other aliens in the cantina, but still, three Biths is really surprising to me. I would have never expected Lego to have that many of one figure like the Biths in one set, even if it was the cantina.

that surprised me actually, but couldn't lego have only put one or two biths instead of three then we could've actually had a ponds baba or Dr evazan or even garindan minifigure, there would've been room. Three biths is a bit much.
