wesker Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 There's a shot of Luke's alternate face on the Advent Calender box. Looks similar to the one we got in the last Millennium Falcon. http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2014/02/Toy-Fair-2014-LEGO-Star-Wars-087.jpg Quote
fitbin Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 It seems the Christmas tree astromech in the Advent calendar has another use. The body is a perfect match for the dome in the Microfighter X wing. You can now have a complete R2-X2 droid! Quote
Mr Meleca Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I am very disappointed with the Dewback in the Cantina. I have the previous and was expecting the same body, more articulated than the new one. I was expecting a new head, color and printing... the rebels look great. Someone saw the Snowtroopers in the AT-AT??? The first from left has a different legs and printing. Quote
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I am happy with all these original trilogy sets, I was waiting for a new rebel pilot on advent calendar, new Wedge or Janson why not Hobbie. Do you know why Luke on snowspeeder set is listed as new? We just have the "new" version on 75014 set, do they made another face print or uniform? Quote
wesker Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Someone saw the Snowtroopers in the AT-AT??? The first from left has a different legs and printing. Thats the Snowtrooper Commander. The other two are just regular Snowtroopers. I am happy with all these original trilogy sets, I was waiting for a new rebel pilot on advent calendar, new Wedge or Janson why not Hobbie. They changed the face so he now has cheekbones to match the new Tatooine Luke. I agree it would've been nice to get a different pilot in the advent calender. Quote

BLAST!!! after 15 years collecting these sets they come with a different mini figure and with a commander??? I can´t believe that I will have to buy my 3rd AT_AT.... Quote
Artanis I Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Dewback looks to be 2 parts: lower jaw and everythingelse... I was somewhat expecting technic pin connected limbs. Jek-14 has different printing to before, nice other minifigs and ship, I think I'll be going for that one. The droid has the mold that the protocol droid in the Death Star set should've had. Having picked up all of the sets of the current wave I want on the weekend, I am aiming for the 2 Rebels sets & the Yoda Chronicles set for the midyear release. Not that I don't like the others at all, but you've gotta draw a line somewhere. The xmas tree droid is hiarious! I like it! Quote
djmangunz Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) FBTB's pictures are up, at least for the Star Wars sets and Ace reports that the Phantom is $30! As much as I want this set, it looks like a $20 set or $25 at most. http://www.fbtb.net/...lego-star-wars/ But that B-Wing looks delicious! And the engines on the Star Destroyer are perfect! Guess I am back into collecting OT. Edited February 17, 2014 by djmangunz Quote
gavralcraw Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) I'm pretty happy to see the hammerhead and another Twi'lek (with printed leki). And the Cantina looks perfect. I started late so this one is new for me. Also keen to see whant the Rebels Sabine figure looks like - female Madalorian. Undecided whether this is Flogging a Dead Fett. The Legonater Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Wow, lots of little details here - new Snowtrooper helmets, new Imp Officer caps... wow. I'm fairly impressed. LEGO seems to be doing quite the rehaul with Rebels coming. You can definitely count me in on the ISD, missed the last one. I want to pass on the AT-AT, but those new helmets may win me over. The B-Wing is a solid win as well, the last system one was exceptionally delicate for me, and it's nice to see them expanding the helmets. Also, Aairen Cracken! The Cantina and Ghost are both looking pretty good - I'll have to see how good the series is for the latter. Quote
Kitfistonator Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 All the pictures look pretty good, but does anyone possibly have a good, fixed image of the box art itself with no visible background? Quote
TeufelHund Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Well the new Imperial figures look decent but they're not very compatible with previous versions. I love the officer caps but I much prefer the look of the old Star Destroyer to this one (although hopefully this one isn't half as flimsy). The new walker has a lot more pieces than the last one but less figures and not even any rebels or emplacements to fight. Also having 8 of the old Snowtroopers I'm not sure if I consider it worth investing in any new Hoth sets although I'll admit the new ATAT pilot looks incredible. The new Sandtrooper looks good although the most recent ones were equally awesome. I'll probably just get the Cantina from this wave at this stage. Quote
Brickmamba Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 No pictures of the sandcrawler so does that mean its not releasing or will pictures surface later in the year? Quote
korpen4444 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Wow! All of these sets are AWESOME! "Gotta catch 'em ALL!" Quote
wesker Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Bit strange the Advent Calender comes with the old Snowtrooper and not the new one. Quote
gavralcraw Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 could this be rebels vader.... LOL... point taken. ;) The dome atop the cantina... a planet hemishpere? A bit dinky... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 No pictures of the sandcrawler so does that mean its not releasing or will pictures surface later in the year? It's a larger exclusive; it wasn't a set we'd usually see at Toy Fair. Quote
Faefrost Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 That Jedi scout Fighter is kind of interesting. Does anyone know where it is from? Is it a Rebels ship? A late Season 6 TCW? I love the Hammerhead Jedi, and OMG after all these years a 3B6! I guess we will be seeing the silver version of that little number in the Sandcrawler? So far I have not seen a single Summer Star Wars set that I dislike. (Which is a huge change from the current wave, where almost nothing excites me.) Quote
Something_Awesome Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Has any site posted pictures of how the Cantina looks when closed/folded up? I find that feature to be very important. Quote

Its from the Yoda Chronicles (or some continuation of it) since Jek-14 is one of the minifigures. Quote
Artanis I Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Video of the stud shooting guns for those that haven't seen them yet. Better than expected. Video of the spring loaded shooters for those that haven't seen them yet. A zillion times better than flick fire missiles. Quote
