TheBrickHitHouse Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 This is the first time I'll be making a purchase with a promo fig, but what happens if I buy two sets and later return one? I'm kind of on the fence on one of the sets and frankly wouldn't buy it if not for the Revan promo. If I decide to return it do I have to return the promo fig? Are you new to planet Earth? Of course not... Quote
Faefrost Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Do we know if one of the UCS or super large sets is being retired to make room for the Sandcrawler? I figure the Death Star or R2-D2 would be next up for retirement? Quote
ablake90 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Looking at the Maggie Simpsons minifigure I can't help but feel the new Jawas would have been better off with the new baby torso/feet part Quote

TheLegoDr Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I was planning on getting R2-D2 to get this promo, but if I have more time I may wait on it. That's a lot of money to drop. But that minifigure is pretty awesome. Quote
Fritzy Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I didn't even realize it came with a minifigure until a few days ago. There's no mention of it in the most recent catalogue, so that's my excuse for not knowing before. Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 If you order from S@H I think they have a limit of 1 per household. I guess that makes us in the USA very lucky since we are not limited by the "limit of 1 per household" restriction. I'm curious to know how much LEGO makes during May the Fourth. The way I see it, if they imposed a limit, it would hurt their sales. Quote

If posts on EB during past sales are any indication, they can run out of the promo minifigs pretty quickly. In all likelihood, they'll sell more than enough LEGO — at least over S@H — to give away all the minifigs anyways, and the limitation makes sense in the interests of making sure plenty of people can get them. BrickBob Studpants Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 @ACPin: Thanks for the picture! I wonder what that new exclusive set could be, didn't expect another one this soon I mean, it's going to be released merely two weeks after the release of the Sandcrawler... Quote
Borex Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Looking at the Maggie Simpsons minifigure I can't help but feel the new Jawas would have been better off with the new baby torso/feet part Hmm that could have worked. Great idea. Quote
Nom Carver Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I instinctively come over this post looking for something interesting, is there anything else LEGO SW 2014 yet to be seen? Is there a reason for this post to still be so active? Quote

Is there a reason for this post to still be so active? We just found out about the May the Fourth be with you giveaway fig a yesterday, does that count? We don't know if there are any unrevealed store exclusives yet with the next wave? And there is probably one more UCS set to be revealed in the Fall. Do any of those count for reasons to still be talking about things? Quote
Hrafnblod Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I'm drooling. KOTOR Legos! I wonder why they chose him, because with Disney who knows if he is ever canon any more? From what I've read for other toy manufacturers, TOR (and presumably KotOR) were exempted from the list of "don't bother with EU stuff." TOR is still an ongoing game and being thousands of years removed from any of the movies it has little chance of in any way conflicting with Disney's plan- there's just no real reason it would get thrown out (again, especially with the MMO still going). Artanis I Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Wow, I've never gotten multiples of any promotions from S@H even with multiple orders. The terms also clearly state only one per household, but looks like they are not always enforcing it? I have never heard of that before. One per order, yes. I have heard that some Lego shops even break the 1 per order rule. Every time I have made multiple orders I have received the promo once for each order. Sometimes they even break the "must be SW purchases" rule. Actually... Checking on the UK side of the site it's listed the release date as the 28th April. Confirming the identical date for Australia, but who in their right mind would order a few days early and miss the Revan?!? Unless we also get an advanced promo too... Got the store calendar today, enjoy! Thanks! @ACPin: Thanks for the picture! I wonder what that new exclusive set could be, didn't expect another one this soon I mean, it's going to be released merely two weeks after the release of the Sandcrawler... I hope it's a SPACESHIP Quote
rollermonkey Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I got 3 Hans (Olo?) and 2 Clone Lieutenants from S@H. I just made multiple orders. Will be getting at least 3 or 4 Revans this year, I've been saving my Lego budget for months. I've got like 4 or 5 unopened Clone Lieutenants on my desk right now. :) Looking at the Maggie Simpsons minifigure I can't help but feel the new Jawas would have been better off with the new baby torso/feet part You could always BL some brown (or reddish-brown) kid's legs and try it out. I definitely agree that since we know Jawas are little that they should use short legs, but then you can't put them in seated positions in the control room or on the 'speeder' cart. I'm guessing that particular restriction is the reason they have regular minifig legs. Quote
duboismerci Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 So happy, they just opened a Lego store in my city. I will be able to go get myself a VIP card The new ROTS a look awesome and I will grab a couple of them for sure Not too much interested in the OT stuff, might get the B-Wing if the price is right. Brings me to my question Apart from the exclusive minifigure, is there anything else special during may 4th? (discount? new release?) for Canada Quote

duboismerci Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Sandcrawler-75059 They do in fact have short legs Quote
rollermonkey Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Before y'all pile on... the original suggestion was for a brown Maggie Simpson part for the Jawas, I didn't realize that they'd made a new torso/feet for her instead of using blue kids legs, and had used regular minifig legs again. I still say that fitting that part into the control positions for the 'crawler or speeder is reason enough to not do so. Quote
