Sir von Lego Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Yes, another MTT! Would be cool to get 20+ Battle Droids in this one! Greetings. Hendrik Quote
hachiroku Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Excellent news on 75058. I'm personally hoping for the AAT. Me too. I prefer the AAT instead of the MTT. Edited May 9, 2014 by hachiroku Quote
exxtrooper Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Just picked up an AT-AT in London for £109.99. Didn't check many other prices- the snow speeder was £34.99- which is crazy, got the battle of hoth set a few weeks ago for less than that! When you're reffering to london, are you talking about the lego brand store, any toy store there or hamleys? Want this cleared up have some friends going around might be able to pick something up this weekend. Quote
AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Something has occured to me. Is there anything about 75056 at all? EDIT: Scratch that, never mind. Just realised what set it is, and not a unrevealed set. Though 75058 and 75057 will be interesting of what sets they might be. Edited May 9, 2014 by AudiBobaR5-D2 Quote
namioik Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I would welcome both AAT and MTT, but I will favor the AAT only because I can't afford to spend more money on this amazing summer wave Quote
cookiemonster Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) The AAT would be too small for a 100€/$ set and 6 mini figures (or even more) would be too much for a 50€/$ set. So I guess it will be the MTT. Edited May 9, 2014 by cookiemonster Quote

Want this cleared up have some friends going around might be able to pick something up this weekend. Judging by the price being retail it's definitely not Hamleys. Don't buy Lego there... I don't now how they work their prices out but a £49.99 set can cost you £62.99 there. Just so you can have a Hamleys bag! Quote

Is there a chance it could have a Flash Speeder in the set with an AAT and be more of a Naboo City playset? Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I hope we are going to see a Naboo Royal Starship soon. Maybe it could be the other unrevealed set? Quote
LordLEGOtube Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Who said that there were only six minifigures? Just because there is so far only six listed that doesn't mean that there couldn't be duplicates, Also wouldn't it show the picture of the set on the back of the instructions like it does for most sets? And is it possible that there might be more minifigures underneath these? Quote
TheLegoDr Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Again this shows how awesome the summer SW figures are. I don't love most of the sets, but I want most of the figures. Still won't be cheap considering how expensive minifigures go for these days. Quote
Only Sinner Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Six minifigs, or at least six fig types come with 75058. I kind of hope it is an MTT, that will make it easier for me to skip it. Quote
Fives Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I'm desperately hoping its a new tan AAT. Thats one old set that hasn't been revamped yet, while we have gotten a remake of the MTT. Plus, an AAT would be a cheaper set, which is good. I'm just glad that we're finally getting a Qui-Gon with updated torso prints and new leg print. He and the Naboo Guard are the stars of the set. The little white servo droid looks like it has some new pieces, and hopefully he'll have some kind of printing, otherwise thats a really cool/boring and useless fig. Ruune Haako would have been better, or even Padme in her dark red battle outfit. Alas, a missed opportunity. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) @Fives: I can't spot any new parts on the droid The head seems to consist of a Ninjago skeleton arm combined with one of those: http://img.bricklink.com/P/1/58176.jpg Edited May 9, 2014 by Lego-Freak Quote
Fives Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Oh, wow. Thats pretty clever. But what about the feet? Have they brought back the old Mars Mission alien legs? Quote
arc Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I think this new tpm set is a mtt, but I hope the other unrevealed set is an aat with a new padme. The two sets would be perfect together. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 @Fives: From what I can tell, the feet are brick built with the following parts: http://img.bricklink.com/P/1/49668.gif http://img.bricklink.com/P/1/3794.gif http://img.bricklink.com/P/1/2555.gif Quote
arc Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Oh, wow. Thats pretty clever. But what about the feet? Have they brought back the old Mars Mission alien legs? it looks like a 1x1 w/clip on a jumper plate with 2 1x1 plates w/"teeth"EDIT: ninja'd once again. Edited May 9, 2014 by arc Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I've just recreated the droid with parts I had laying around (minus the accessories): Reminds me of the pilot droid in 7752 Dooku's Solar Sailor, but in my opinion the new one's much more cleverly designed than that one Quote
dsoffers Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Buddy of mine bought both the AT-AT and the ISD today. Turns out his AT-AT box is damaged so he'll be exchanging it tomorrow. He is going to start with the ISD tonight however and he was kind enough to send me these pics: Lots of stickers. :( More to come when I receive them. *edit* Next batch.. Pablo94 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I hope it's MTT, I've missed last one and I've always wanted one. Quote
Nom Carver Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Thanks "dsoffers", I hope we can get to see more of that SD soon. Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 The strongest wave...ever? From the giant sandcrawler to the delightful Ghost these 9 sets are sensational - figures, clever designs, great to display and a mix of old and new. £750 though - oh my! Quote
Csacsa234 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the pics! I have to say that the ISD looks rather short on these pictures, but the new stormtroopers are beautiful. I think the set is an AAT, which would make sense because of the Royal Guard. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember seeing a Royal Guard outside of the City. I agree with you on that one, There were AAts in Theed and guards could be seen only in the city (at the end of the movie there was a few naboo soldiers with Padmé when she met with Boss Nass but those guys wore dark red suits if I remember well). I think the Royal Guard betrays it, I don't say that it's definetely an AAT but it definetely needs an update of the movie version. Edited May 9, 2014 by Csacsa234 Quote
dsoffers Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Thanks "dsoffers", I hope we can get to see more of that SD soon. No problem. More pics sometime tomorrow when he's continuing with the 2nd book. Quote
