That's quite nicely done!... A second set for me also once they're on sale!

They haven't actually used that much of the second set there either... I think it could still be bigger.

I took some quick comparison shoots after building the new Star Destroyer. The technic pins who are connecting the openings sides are jarring like crazy if you will open them. I took this section three times apart because I thought I built something wrong but it seems to be normal. Very strange.

I let the photos talk for themselves. In my opinion the new version looks "tiny". Especially if it is standing next to a normal sized ship like the current Millennium Falcon.

Thanks for posting this comparison. The new ISD definitely looks more movie-accurate, I was never fond of the older version's out-sized bridge tower. It does look small, but I still think I'll pick one up.

I know this question may have been asked before, but does anyone know when the (two?) new UCS sets will be revealed?

I much prefer the look of my 2006 version (especially the booster rocket array) although I'll admit the new version has more generically useful minfigs for Imperial MOCs.

The 2006 version though is a bugger to build, is fragile and not swooshable at all. I didn't find it an enjoyable buidling experience at all (in fact it wasn't until some years after I got this for a present that I really came out of my Dark Ages) although I like the look of it very much. If the new version can fix some of these issues it might be worth picking up.

Thanks, that adds quite a lot of weight to the rumoured UCS Slave 1.... :classic:

Your Welcome, I love to watch LEGO's mini-movies (To complain about the inaccurate-ness of it all. ) and noticed those and I was like. *oh2* "Gotta share on Eurobricks."

4-LOM is actually a minifig in set 75051 Jedi Scout Fighter.

The MTT might indeed be a potential new version.

Actually not that is an RA-7 Protocol Droid140.jpg

If you look carefully you see that the mouth section is different.

I'm not one to jump on the wagon after seeing something on a poster or in the background on an animation but that 4-Lom looked great.

If that is any kind of indication that we may get him and Zuckuss to complete the bounty hunters from TESB then I'm more than delighted.

Maybe the Slave One rumour might be true after all. If so then it looks like it'll be Boba's rather than Jango's.

That was just the regular Dengar and Bossk that appeared too wasn't it?

I believe this came up before, I think the pic of phantom menace figs that came up a little bit ago come with it. Hopefully we get confirmation soon.

4-Lom and Zuckuss are two characters I am sure we will see at some point. I don't have a lot of expectations of seeing them match any animated shorts or TV shows however. Just as I don't think we will see a Kashyyck trooper in Wookie disguise.
