Fire spray 31 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I wonder how big that wind screen is comparably to the old windscreen. Could mean some amazing system Slave 1/Jango Fett Slave 1 reboots soon. No one can never have TOO many Slave 1's. Quote
namioik Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Awesome! Just2Good really is Just 2 Good (to us at least). No offense, you're the second person to make that joke. And I say no offense because it's corny :) Quote
Robianco Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 The minifig line up actually isn't too bad. IG-88 and Dengar are still in the SSD, Bossk was in the last Slave 1 and as he's not the 'hero' of this I didn't think they'd bother with arm printing on him... he's pretty good as he is. It's just Zuckuss and 4-Lom we're missing... Maybe the black Bespin Guard would have been nice or another stormtrooper to escort the Carbonite Han out... but it's more about the ship rather than the fig line-up. I noticed that the torso on Fett has been updated a little from the Skiff set as has the leg print. Helmet looks the same though. I've got the Arealight backpack which should make this figure perfect. Quote
Fire spray 31 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Also, I doubt we will have much of an interior to speak of. I am thinking the inside is taken up with the super structure of the whole craft. I can't believe they built a stand for this thing-it must weigh a lot. Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 A curious fusion of old style UCS and new minifig/play features style UCS... Looks fantastic - after the debacle with the SSD accuracy issues Lego has really worked to show they are 'professional' builders. The tumbler and the Slave 1 show a real design flair. Real kick in the guts though with the figure selection - couldn't we have got 4-Lom? Maybe a more detailed Bespin Guard? Lando? These bricks cost lego nothing - was an extra few figures even something they needed to think about? Quote

wesker Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 This is one of the best executed sets in the entire line. I really cannot find any flaws with it. They really nailed the proportions with some creative building techniques. Love how smooth the new windscreen looks. The new minifigures look amazing too. Hope we see more of the Bespin Guards. Quote
Rishab N Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I like it and they got the looks down pretty well, but I'm probably going to pass on this one Quote
K-Nut Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Looks pretty nice! Probably the first UCS set of recent years to really catch my eye. Picking up the Boba fig is a must even if I don't get the set, which I'm seriously considering. Quote
Gooker1 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I'm so glad this comes w/ a stand. Slave 1's aren't the easiest to display. Quote
just2good Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Awesome! Just2Good really is Just 2 Good (to us at least). Nice one! Again, thanks for all the 'thank you' remarks everyone! Sorry I cannot reply to them each individually, but it means a lot! Quote
Gooker1 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Thanks for posting the high res photos! Man, I was hoping there weren't stickers, but the high res photos confirmed it...again, for a $200 set, printed pieces please!!!! Quote
LoRd AmUnRa Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Is it possible that those are fake or preliminary photos ?? because the shape from the ship and minifig has been cutted out extremely bad for legos standards! Edited September 2, 2014 by LoRd AmUnRa Quote
AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Looking at the pics myself. Is all I can say about 75060. All smooth design and very impressive. 4th Boba Fett's Slave I in the last 14/15 years, and massively improved. The price is a shocker, but that whats a UCS is all about. Still, it captures the look from ESB/AoTC, but of course more ESB. Printed arm Fett will cost a lot after 75060 gets released no doubt. Edited September 2, 2014 by AudiBobaR5-D2 Quote

There is no way they are fake. We have some pieces in new colors we haven't had before and a new wind screen. They could be prelim though! Quote
Mahtion Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Does boba's gun have a new mold? Thanks for pics, may end up getting this set since I don't have a Slave 1 yet. Would like Bossk but will just bricklink him. Quote

Mahtion Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 ^^^ Wow I feel stupid! It just looked odd in that pic. Quote
addemlit Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 If this comes out during the double VIP point month I will be sooooo happy Quote
Darth Malgus Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Really like it, it looks like i'd hope a UCS slave 1 would. Its as close a scale as lego are going to be willing to go. Quote
Venkefedo Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Cool! I was a bit concerned it'd be too big for minifigs despite the report that Boba fits in the cockpit (R2 fits in the Red Five X-wing, after all), but seeing these pics it looks really, really nice. Thanks for the pics, just2good! Is it possible that those are fake or preliminary photos ?? because the shape from the ship and minifig has been cutted out extremely bad for legos standards! I don't understand your meaning here... looks fine to me. Do you mean the 'missing' part of the ship behind the wing on the box art? I think that's just a design choice they made in building it, whether or not it's accurate to the film model/design. Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Holy wow. Thanks for the pics this has made my morning! It looks perfect to me :D Could have used an extra fig or two but ahh well. Now to wait and see how much more I have to pay than the rest of the world for it cause I live in Australia :P Hoping it cost the same as the UCS X-Wing (250Aud) which wouldn't be too bad Quote

ISDAvenger Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) After liquidating most of my collection, which included the previous Slave 1, it is nice to see I can buy this instead of trying to find a previous model for a decent price. Looks well built, I would estimate a price of definitely over $100, but between $180 and $220. I take the tentative release date is November? Need to release it during double VIP points. Brickmamba Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Worked for me! Thank god i didnt buy the 2011 version. Although i still want Bossk. Looks awesome! Boba looks so detailed! Neither though i did get bossk, a little disappointed with the color scheme of the UCS, similar criticisms to the 2011 version applies, the colored bricks are too sharp for what is suppose to be a junkyard spaceship, may have to bricklink some sand green parts to fix that Quote
