Well to be fair, over here in Australia that chewbacca set generally goes for about $80-$100 and being a poor uni student doesn't help at all. commander Gree is gonna be off the shelf!

Cheap wave for me. But I do like the new Chewie, but will result to eBay after a few months after prices go down.

Bricklink is pretty good too man, and seeing as it is only Lego that they deal with, quality standards would be better.

I know, but I bide my time and end up getting everything cheaper on eBay auction style versus set prices on bricklink. But I have bricklink others before.

I don't like the new Chewie, mainly because of his scary white pupils. The Kashyyyk troopers look better on these pictures. I think I will have to buy a BP to decide if I like them or not.

...new spring-loaded firing weapons for the troopers and new spring-loaded missiles in the spaceships. I'm surprised others didn't notice that.

Actually, I think we all noticed that.

I love the 41st Elite trooper! He just looks awesome! Definitely getting the Kashyyyk troopers battle-pack.

I hope we will soon get the first pics of the DS gunners!

For me it's the biggest draw of the range. I've had my Christo custom for a while now and always thought it was one of the best figures in my collection.

Hopefully the official one will improve on the helmet a little and make it removable from the head. Looking forward to the new detailed torso designs. Mind you I'm pretty excited about the full Rebel Pilot print on the legs and torso too. Chewie and the silver top Artoo make it quite a nice (and cheap) wave for me. I bet the summer wave will kill me with some nice OT stuff though!

UCS Slave 1 will probably be the main drainer of funds.

I haven't been here in a week or so, but it doesn't look like I have missed much. All I can see is that there is a few pictures of leaked minifigures. Is there anything else?

You missed leaked preliminary images of the Utapau troopers BP, and the CW republic cannon.

It seems like leg painting has become a standard this year. last year it was still an exclusive if it had leg painting and kind of rare. I'm guessing arm painting with be standard within another year or so.

Looks like Porkins.

That's not Porkins. It's Theron Nett who was Red Ten. Now that looks nice! Do we know how much the microfighters are going to be?

I'm tempted to offer him €5 each for a few of those!

I have to say I don't particularly like that Chewie!

Me neither---he looks nothing like the OT costume. Though I do think that a lot of the problems would be resolved if the light brown prints were changed to reddish brown.

Actually I think the print is entirely different than anything we've seen thus far. It's a shame that the torso printing has changed ONCE AGAIN, however I can't say that I'm not happy: the entire figure is far more detailed and has an amazing flow from torso to legs... It's almost impossible to tell that the figure is made up of multiple pieces!

The new pilot looks awesome. I'm glad we're finally getting the X-Wing pilots and Snowspeeder pilots as two distinctly different figures. Shows how far Lego has come since using the one generic pilot to cover both.
