Nightstalker Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 "There is an old saying in my family Thou who art Undead art chosen In thine exodus from the Undead Asylum Maketh pilgrimage to the land of the Ancient Lords When thou ringeth the Bell of Awakening, The fate of the Undead thou shalt know." - Oscar, Knight of Astora ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall MOC Inside the Cell Above the Cell (I can only guess what it actually looked like) Hope you enjoyed the MOC from Dark Souls. As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!! Quote
Only Sinner Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 There is a lot of really nice detail on this. I like your custom figs, too. Quote
Knight Solaire Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Is the gold knight supposed to be the chosen undead? Its a nice MoC and you've textured the rock nicely. Quote
Nightstalker Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Is the gold knight supposed to be the chosen undead? Yes it is. He's suppose to be similar to my new game+ character in paladin armor. Quote
Trance89 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Cool. It reminded me of Dark Souls right away after seeing the first picture. I really need to get back into this game again. Only played it a few times. Quote
ZCerberus Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 The figs do look excellent. The picture/photo quality needs some work though. Looks like you need to work on getting more light and focus into the photos. Quote
Nightstalker Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 *sigh* Due to lack of decals and other pieces I can't represent either of the figs accurately. My light set up is bad unfortunately, since I don't necessarily have the ability to use natural light at the moment (the weather has just been bad plus my house is right underneath a large tree). I pretty much just have a bunch of house lights to manipulate. Quote
Missing Brick Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Nice little vignette Nightstalker. Couple of tips on getting the best from your camera: 1) Your camera should have a manual exposure setting which might appear as +-0 in the menu. If you increase that to +1 or +2 it will open the shutter for longer so you'll get a brighter image. 2) You will need to have your camera mounted on a mini-tripod (or a pile of books) to hold it absolutely still during exposure. 3) You will also need to use the self timer to trigger the shutter so you don't accidentally jog the camera by pressing the button during exposure. 4) For extreme closeups it may improve the focus to select the camera's 'macro' mode (usually a flower symbol). I hope this helps. Brick on! Quote
