Posted July 20, 201311 yr Today walked into my local toys r us (sacramento, ca) and found two sets of 42008 sitting for $139.99. Scanned one on price checker and found that it's in the system. July 21, 201311 yr The price on the new 2H sets could be found on the Norwegian lego.com site until recently, and it was priced the same as the 9397 Logging Truck. 1099 Kroner, approximately $184. Compared to the price here it's not bad, if TRU doesn't price it lower as someone said they usually do.

July 21, 201311 yr I don't know how good that price is but s@h and toy stores will have it in like 2 weeks so why bother getting it from ebay.
July 21, 201311 yr I also found two 42008's on the shelf at TRU, Seattle area, $139.99. Definitely wouldn't bite on anything there unless its (kind of) a buy 2 get 1 free. That said, anyone know how up $$$ TRU's price is? will s@h be $119 or $129?? Havent seen the US list on 42008's anywhere, previous pics and not even TLG. We only know what TLG's 42009 US list, at $239. Opps my typo...$219 at s@h. (even TRU's list wouldn't be $239 of the 42009 -- that'll hit at least $259 in TRU the next few days ) Edited July 22, 201311 yr by Dannnohhh
July 22, 201311 yr The 42009 Service Truck looks legit! I'm ordering the 42008, 42009 and 41999 from LEGO S@H. Hopefully they have some awesome ordering bonus for the month of August.

July 22, 201311 yr I stopped by the Toys R us in eastern washington and they didnt have the 42009 or the 42008.
