Heey,

Now we know what series 1-11 is, I like to make a topic about what we (as lego fans) want to see for series 12.

Share what you want.

Mine is:

- Hairdresser (male with scissor & came)

- Farmer Girl ( with hillbilly look and hey)

- Photographer (male with camera)

- Docter (male with operation tool)

- Dog trainer (male with big dog)

- Cupcake baker (woman with two cupcakes)

- Secret Agent (male like 007)

- Buddha

- Flowerist (woman with flowers)

- Arabic belly danser (woman with red dancing outfit)

- Bartender (with cocktail glasses)

- School teacher (woman with book & papers)

- Street musician (male with guitar)

- Babysitter (girl with the first lego baby)

- Mayor (with key to the city)

- Nun (with cross)

- Indian princess (with tropical bird)

- Female zombie (with beating heart)

- Zombie child (with zombie bear)

- Cow outfit (male with cow outfit)

What do you miss.....???

Posted

- Buddha

- Nun (with cross)

Those two will TLG take these ideas or not? Because LEGO could not make any minifigures based on Religion.

If its good if the nun will not have a cross, but the Buddha minifig should not make it.

I appreciate each Series needs a mixture of themes, which is part of the appeal of the CMF line. However, although I love history, mythology, horror, fantasy, etc, these choices reflect my main interest, which is the City theme (or the World Around Us) and therefore are my most wanted figures in no particular order...

Music

1) Barbershop Singer - (very much like Homer's outfit in the 'B Sharps' Simpsons episode)

2) Brass Band Player - like the Toy Soldier's uniform, maybe with a tuba or another instrument compatible with an orchestra

3) Violinist - the Lego orchestra will be the new 'army builder'!

4) Elvis 'Impersonator' - White Jump Suit and microphone (just please don't spoil it with an open mouth head Lego!!)

World Cultures

5) Andean (Peruvian) - brightly coloured traditional costume with pan pipes (sadly probably not enough room for a llama too!)

6) Sheikh - Like on the cover of the Orient Bazaar game - bring back the Prince of Persia camel too!)

7) Alpenhorn Player - a variation to continue the 'Bavarian' family with a long horn (a milkmaid & goat herd too please)

Occupations

8) Teddy Bear Costume - light brown colour similar to the bunny suit guy

9) Hotel Bellhop - In Dark Red uniform carrying 2 suitcases

10) UN Peacekeeper - Light Blue Helmet with light blue bulletproof 'UN' vest separate from khaki torso and legs.

11) Zookeeper - with new moulded Penguin, wearing dungarees (the zookeeper, not the penguin!)

12) Zookeeper/Australian - with moulded Koala

Sports and Leisure

13) Tourist - or any figure with a white Panama Hat and black trim (new mould), could have Hawaiian shirt and camera

14) Seaside Kid - short legs, a normal (not muscled or sumo wrestler) bare torso, swimming trunks and small bucket & spade for the beach. In fact, a whole range of beach figures would be great (bring back Paradisa!)

15) Golfer - with a club (and a caddy bag if possible), light grey flat cap and more old-fashioned outfit.

16) Cricketer - wearing traditional cricket whites including V-necked jumper, bat and maybe helmet

As you can see I'd like figures with animals a lot so a range of Collectible Lego animals would also be great as soon as you're ready Lego!!! (Kangaroo, Hippo, Rhino, Giraffe, Sea Lion...)

Nun is one I've been wanting for a long while, I'm not religious, I just think that one would come up great in Lego. Though of course they wouldn't make it, oh well. It never hurts to dream.

My wish/guess list is...

Lion Suit Gal

Ballerina

Nun

Newspaper Boy (1920s)

Chimney Sweep

Barber

1950s Flight Attendant

Jockey

Headbanger/MetalHead

Ogre

Aussie Rules Footballer (perhaps black jumper with red stripe)

umm, it's 2:30am, I can't think right now, but there's some!

Posted

Monk with a tonsure (bald spot in the middle of the head). No religious symbols are necessary.

Ancient Chinese or Japanese style archer

Greek hero (Perseus)

Victorian era women

Girl in petticoat

Modern astronaut in blue jumpsuit (flight patch printing on arm)

Ballerina

Barista

For the Castle/Fantasy-themed figs of future series, I'd like to see a couple of peasant characters or servants of a king. An Eastern knight or bandit might be nice as well, or a shaman...

The high schooler type guy with jacket

A fine ballerina (with fine I mean a "delicately" designed one, not one with a huge grin :hmpf_bad:)

Either a forest lady with flowers in her hair, or a nymph. I was expecting a better fairy in series 8 tbh.

European street mime.. kinda. You know those artists that paint themselves in silver/gold and pretend to be statues.

Victorian era lady (Like the one a designer had in his portfolio! Can't remember his name though)

Male trendsetter/model with his hair "up", like this: http://24.media.tumb...g0hrfo1_400.jpg

Minifigures from Arabia, India, etc. I won't list them down cause there are so many possibilities.

Ooh and a mexican woman with the typical colorful dress! and braids!

Wizard-Kindof like a blue version of Gandalf

Goblin-A green goblin (kindof like a castle goblin)

I would really like a:

medieval peasant

medieval monk/friar (this is like #1 on my list with maybe the grampa hair in brown)

more mythical monsters

a different zombie

Moorish soldier (I want to get my crusade on)

a different gladiator (maybe with a different helmet or armor and a trident)

Just brainstorming some nice to have characters:

wizard/sorceress

king/queen (probably one each in different series)

construction worker with hard hat

+1 vote for ballerina

+1 vote for school teacher

hunter with rifle

backpacker/camper/outdoorsman

bride of frankenstein

female vampire

cyclist (not sure if a bike is too big of an accessory for this series)

chef

baker

greek guy/girl in toga

frat guy/sorority girl with greek letter jacket or sweater

fencer

javelin thrower

And there's also What minifigs are we missing - post your detailed suggestions here on Embassy.

This topic, I presume, is meant to be something in-between: what we wish for Series 12 to include, compared to Itaria No Shintaku's guessing game where we are making guesses for what it actually will include, warts and all (or lady robots and all?). For example speed skater is one of my guesses, because I think January series* will probably include some new winter sports figure, and Lego might want to reuse skate-mold another time. However if I made a dream list, i.e. in my opinion the best possible outcome of Series 12 (but with as-realistic-as-possible dispensation of different themes, so as not to include 16 historical army-builders), that list wouldn't include speed skater because that figure wouldn't have a single piece that I would be interested in. Some other sports figure, inevitable as the theme itself is, might at least bring a new colour of some nice hair mold or something like that.

* Of course, the announced CMF series tied to The Lego Movie may push the next regular series to a later release schedule. Remains to be seen.

Figs I'd like to see:

1) We've already had many mythical creatures, but who doesn't want more? For example a dryad, a little bit like kinder and yellow-skinned version of Poison Ivy. I doubt a centaur would fit in the bag but who knows - Medusa's tail did! It should have a similar but somewhat smaller body than regular horse, with studs to attach a human torso. I would be happy enough without any posable hinge parts (like hind legs of the new horse). Harpy and satyr I'd like too, but I'm not sure if they are really doable retaining the Lego look.

2) Someone above suggested Indian princess and I like the idea. Princess from India, that is (though indigenous American princess would be nice enough too). She could have Tamina's hair piece in black, maybe, with a bindi on her forehead and richly embroidered sari or something like that.

3) Medieval figs are my obsession and a minstrel with a lute is probably my biggest wish. A pastoral shepherdess with a lamb would be awesome. Apart from the lamb she could have some new headress, there's not too many that would fit for medieval women. Also I hope CMF series will finally provide us with a king with a proper crown instead of the helmet crown that's been in use since the 90s. A monk in brown robes would be more than welcome (grandpa's bald piece and the new hood piece from The Lego Movie's Wyldstyle), but sadly might be something that Lego is avoiding. Maybe they could do a druid instead? We could still have a brown robe and also a sickle.

4) We've had many male wizards through the years in Lego, but the only female magic users have been witches/hags. So a sorceress would be nice, either good or evil (both, of course, could not be in the same series).

5) I have little interest in City figures, but a gardener with a new watering can accessory could be really cute, and if he/she had a new flower/plant piece that would be a must-have fig indeed.

I know this is unrealistic for CMF, but I would love to see a centaur! If they put the snake tail piece in series 10 then why not a horse piece? But more realistically, a faun or satyr would be cool too. I would also really love another zombie, male or female, and a female sleepy-head with new pigtails.

I'll admit I'm not a big CMF collector, but looking around at some of my MOCs that could use some residents, I'll suggest:

1) Evil Sorceress - something with a classic D&D vibe going on

2) NASA Astronaut - I've got an Apollo-Soyez link-up that's just waiting for someone to go EVA

3) Court Jester - what good is a king's throne room without a fool to fill it?

4) Female Pirate - let's have a little gender equality on the high seas, it would do the likes of Ingela Gathenhielm Anne Dieu-le-Veut, Anne Bonney, and Rachel Wall proud

5) Penquin suit guy - who _doesn't_ need a guy in a penguin suit at one point or another?

6) Fashion Challenged Golfer - especially if they could print tacky mismatched plaids and give him/her a tam with a pom-pom

7) Less than "super" hero - not so much a generic superhero as much as a nerdy comic fan cobbling together a costume for Comic-Con

8) English Longbowman - lightly armored and off to Agincourt for St. Crispin's Day

9) Carpenter - with tools and toolbox of course

10) Scottish or Norse Pikeman - you never know when a schiltron will come in handy

11) Stage director - we've had dancers, actors, mimes and clowns - it's about time someone showed up to put them in their proper place

12) Wood nymph - Dryad (oak), Meliai (ash), Epimelaid (apple) or Caryatid (walnut), whatever, I'm not picky and most people wouldn't know the difference anyway

13) Town Crier - with tricorn hat and bell to get the word out about the next CMF series

Some more ideas that I've been thinking about. A few of these might be repeats from the merged thread, I haven't read through all of it. Also, some of these figures are already available in Lego sets (like the fireman), but this is not uncommon with collectible minifigures. The CMF series usually takes these figures and adds more detail and accessories, like the policeman or forestman, for instance.

mythological/creatures:

grim reaper/death

father time

zeus

bigfoot

+ vote for forest spirit/dryad

evil/dark fairy

city/occupation:

miner

mail carrier

fireman

historical:

arabian man/woman

shephard with crook and sheep

+1 vote for medieval minstrel, with a lute or harp

+1 vote for a victorian character

fantasy/scifi:

steampunk guy/girl

updated blacktron 1 figure (same as how series 1 spaceman is an updated classic space astronaut)

updated space police 1 figure

priestess (d&d style)

classic princess (think disney princess)

cyborg
