So , Sadly I was on shop.lego.com and found out minifigures series 9 is sold out and has no restock date D: What do you think...? is it too early for them to retire them?? Series 11 is going to be coming soon, and Series 9 is getting to be almost 8 months old, so it's hype is likely lowering. That said, I do believe this belongs in the Special Themes forum. Hope that answers your question!

Having said that, I doubt they're still in production and I'm afraid they're really sold out when they run out of inventory in a certain region/country.
