de Gothia Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I use GIMP to edit my background. First I use a white background and then it´s really easy to edit the background, There are many tutorials on youtube showing how to remove the background. Oh, and Gimp is free! ;) Quote
ZCerberus Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Gimp is also my editor of choice. If your build has a lot of white though, a different color background might be better. Try tan, brown or green. When I have had a lot of white I ofter times use green or gray sheetrock or something to cover up the lawn. Quote

I just added walls after seeing de gothia's post. They were taken and modified from the Lego castle set. I use GIMP to edit my background. Good to have a context for the gate. The gatehouse itself is ok (could maybe have had more uniformity in the colors, hurts my eyes a bit ) but what I really like in this build is the snowscape, it really feels like the snow has drifted up towards the wall.
