Captain Green Hair Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 Thank you for all the kind words guys, I really appreciate it! It;s funny so many of you mention the tram, since it's such an old model. That train station really deserves its own post over in train tech when it's finished. The rest of your layout is of a really high standard too. I particularly like your tram and bus. I'll give all buildings their own topic when they are finished. My problem is that I always seem to have 10+ builds running at the same time. So it might take some time. I am impressed by the train station... I really wish that the next modular building was an old style train station.... I'll gladly design it for TLC. It might hurt your wallet more then a bit though. Almost every element of this layout is fantastic. I like the station most. Are you going to make the layout more permanent? In this setting, the buildings stand somewhat on their own, and need some connecting elements. I would say, get rid of the road plates and build your own streets, otherways your tram will never be able to ride the streets! Once I start on the permanent layout I will not use the road plates any more. I will be making SNOT streets and incorporate everything in a nice way. The road plates are the last survivers from my child hood and seemed like the perfect solution for a quick set-up (which still took me a good 2 hours to make). Quote
