The book appears to be a catalog, with a description of items being recorded, the time of their discovery, and when they left the prison, as well as an estimation on price. The last few entry aren't fully filled out. Day 28 Retrieved: Four gold bars, worth about fifty gold each. Retrieved: Antique Elvish Blade, imbued with an amethyst, dates back to Moone Elf Kingdom. Checked for curses, none found. Retrieved: Stone Tablet, image of a jackal carved onto it, followed by untranslatable script IMPORTANT!!! Retrieved: Wooden Chest, filled with coins and various jewels. Shipped, shortly afterwards. Taken with Captain James Gault Day 28 to show Commodore Hector Comstock. NOTE: Leave the Tablet ready to be hoisted tomorrow morning when the commodore arrives. We'll have men here before he arrives to ensure it's ready to be brought up. Perhaps the party should look back at the clues they were given... He then picks up the next book, rifling through it. Looking through it's pages, Em notices various texts, all very old. Most of it is too worn to read, but the last four pages is what intrigues him. The first two are legible, the page to the left containing text, the one to his right containing an illustration of a golden eagle spreading its wings over a horde demons below it, rays of light casting them away. And thus the evil was sealed as the Wizard Priests of Ennoc cast the demons into the sea, the Mad King destroyed with it. The cities were plundered, yet little was taken due to the dark and vile nature of the relics. Ennoc's holy light cast down the enemies, as they drowned into the sea, leaving little to nothing of the kingdom. Few of the Moon Elves survived, yet the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few.The ideal of order and justice were championed once again, as evil was purged from the land. The third and fourth pages are less legible. The words are heavily faded, but the image is still intact. Three paladins in golden armor kneel before an eagle, each one carrying a tablet of some sort. The only lines you can read is the last two. And so Ennoc gave them their blessing as they went their separate ways, each one sworn to protect their key until the end of days, when their next of kin would protect it. The cycle continues...
