Doc_Brown Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Hello everyone! I'm Proud to show my latest MOC. A 1932 Ford Hot Rod, black with red interior. Almost 7 months in the build! I'm very pleased with the results and achieved everything that I wanted to do. My goals were: Tudor style with removable bonnet revealing a detailed engine. Opening doors and boot (trunk) RC Realistic chassis and live axles all round Black Powered by 2 x XL motors, 1 x servo for steering and 1 x PF lights. I used duct tape to make the 5 spoke rims. Hope you enjoy the video! Any questions or comments are welcome. Here are some more pics. Quote

piterx Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 FINALLY !!! i've been waiting for this model so long it's just great! love the rims, the stop lights and ofcourse you've done an amazing job with that engine ;) nice performances too! but you forgot to add a picture of the underside :P and im also curious about that front suspension! is it separate from the rest of the chassis? how does it work? i've seen the whole front axle moving a bit while turning Quote
Doc_Brown Posted July 28, 2013 Author Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the really nice comments guys! Here you go!! Yes it is all separate. More pics are here. IMG_7564 by Doc_brown1, on Flickr Edited July 28, 2013 by Doc_Brown Quote

pint14 Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 All the bodywork and chassis are great, but the rims or whatever they are, these are ugly (only my opinion). Maybe u could make a picture without them! Quote
zux Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Nice looking exterior, very smooth, almost non technic look. Quote

octavspot Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Fantastic use of Technic elements to get that "nose" shape right - and I agree, the interior is just beautiful... great job all around! :D she looks fast! Quote
