I don't like the way my suspicions of him are consistently cast off as being not valid when almost all of my other suspicions were taken as 'hmm, yes, that's possible.' Again, I might just be railroading, but it doesn't settle easily with me. That combined with his new-found aggressiveness from this morning combine to make me suspect Paris told DP how to act to make himself seem less scummy. Paris went on to tell me in private that DP's new aggressiveness was a town-tell. I mainly got more aggressive today because I couldn't be as active yesterday and there wasn't as much to go on yesterday as there was today. I would have accused Rocky and voted for him yesterday too but the day ended an hour early, so I just brought that accusation up for today. It seems that there's differing opinions on how I'll look with Paris' affiliation though, first you said we probably weren't on the same scum team and now you're guessing we might both be scum. But I guess we'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what Paris comes up as.

Are you town, or am I reading you wrong? I said yes, I'm 100% town, but admitted that my answer would be the same whether I was town or scum, (so what's the point of asking?) I also then said my opinion of her was entertaining, but no read on loyalties yet. Paris then responded with Are you sure??? I didn't ask for your opinion on me, but it's good to know I'm entertaining. Good on you for not trusting me, either. I would have been suspicious if you did trust me. And that was the end of that. I was honestly pretty surprised to be getting contacted so early on... other places I've been I haven't gotten in touch with anyone till much later. And considering out west I got taken by some smooth talkin', I wasn't about to just do anything quick here. Got a bad case of Pistanthrophobia So there's the facts... some thoughts to come shortly.

Got so many issues here I can't begin to keep track of them all. With the way she went off the handle and then went quiet, however, I am not terribly worried. This. Paris' actions today seem fairly scummy - fight HARD and then give up. Yes, she gave a couple names of people she's suspicious of, but nothing really helpful. So I suspect we might actually be right here :) Honestly, the fact that Paris contacted me so early I found really suspicious. Who can trust anyone that early? (for the same reason, I'm still shocked that we have any investigation results already). And really, asking me if I'm town? What good does that do? I'm going to say yes no matter what. So I'm wondering if it wasn't Paris trying to get on my good side early on to lead to manipulation later... But anyway, today's as good as done. If Paris turns scum overnight, then we've got a good investigator and can look into others tomorrow. If she turns out to be telling the truth and is town, then we'll get the name of the source and have an easy lynch target tomorrow.

I guess we are waiting. Because I was playing the game? Because I'm dumb and easily manipulated? because the master of Silver city has a Silver tongue? I'm telling you all that I know. He sent me a message within 12 hours of the Day opening with a daft punk song, I followed up with another, and so on and so forth, and after one of us repeated a song, we started talking goofily about the other being scum, or the SK, or attempting a sting on the other. finally it got to discussing the events in the day thread, and while we kept making banal banter, we also started talking bout our opinions on the events of the day thread, and in order to get something solid to analyze, I noted the arguments that were made in the beginning of the day that looked like they were legitimate suspicions (so, I excluded things like: "I don't know what about his/her attitude is pinging my scumdar, but I'm sort of questioning BLANK"). He contacted me in a similar fashion in Jedi Temple, and we did basically the same thing there: Me sharing all of my thoughts with him, and him manipulating my every thought. I mainly got more aggressive today because I couldn't be as active yesterday and there wasn't as much to go on yesterday as there was today. Some parts of your interaction with Paris, like your argument against him early in day 1, lean my thoughts towards Town, but others, like what I assumed was a scummy mindset at points on D1, and Paris's insistence that you aren't scummy lead me to believe the opposite.

Not to be pushy, but would it be possible to get some more info on those messages, i.e. when and if he sent them to you? I received similar messages from Paris and if both of you are scum, then it would be pretty easy for him to mimic his messages he sent to others to make sure we didn't suspect you by your quoting him.

For the record, they do sound exactly like what Paris told me they'd sound like: Yes, my Tammo-tendrils shoot out as soon as the first Day is posted. I've also contacted mostlytechnic, as I said, because his No Lynch idea seemed town to me. He said I was entertaining, but he didn't trust me, which is a townie response (a scum could fake it, but I feel like mostly would like to talk as scum).
