5150 Lego Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Have you heard about the Transformers/Avengers crossover. Wow! I'm gonna have to read that. The movie's really gearing up as well. It looks so good. The movie designs look great, especially Ratchet. Yes, Ratchet is one of my favourite characters, besides Shockwave. I'm really looking forward to the movie as well. My favorite one right now is brawl. I love mustangs, and to see a Saleen police version is great! Looks really mean with the push bumper! Quote
Brainbox Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 You can see most of them here Yeah, I think I've seen your gallery before. Nice collection. *y* WST Soundwave *wub* . I'm really looking forward to the movie as well. My favorite one right now is brawl. I love mustangs, and to see a Saleen police version is great! Looks really mean with the push bumper! Barricade. Brawl is the tank. As I said, I actually quite like Ratchet. And Jazz. Jazz is quite cool. Quote
5150 Lego Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Barricade. Brawl is the tank.As I said, I actually quite like Ratchet. And Jazz. Jazz is quite cool. Opps. sorry. *wub* I meant barricade. My bad. Ratchet is quite cool as well. I love emergency vehiles, so he gets my vote as well! Quote
Dino_Bot Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 My favorites so far for TF TM are Starscream, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Barricade...and pretty much the rest of the 'cons. I'll end up getting all of the Decepticons when they come out. Wreckage, Brawl, Barricade, Blackout, Starscream, Megatron, and BoneCrusher (I want to see the toy of that SO BAD)...I'll end up getting the Delux new Camaro Bumblebee, but won't get the 70's camaro DLX bumblebee. And Jazz is doubtful. I don't like Ratchet, I've never liked Primes, but Ironhide is my fav fig so far, so that one's on the priority list, with Starscream. Anyone like the classics? I think they suck, their minicons suck, Hasbro could have done a better job...Heck, Hasbro SHOULDNT have made those. The only one I like is Cliffjumper, but he's 9.99, and I could get a TF bigger in size for 9.99...pitiful, just pitiful. They're getting too expensive, and too simple. That's why I can't wait for the TFTM figs, as I'll get something good for mah munneh. Quote
UltraPrime Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I like the classics, they appeal to my nostalgic nature :-) And have you seen Cliffjumper in the shops? I didn't think they had arrived on our shores yet... Now, as for nice Movie toys, have you seen the Interactive Bumblebee? That looks one nice piece of kit! Quote
5150 Lego Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I have a question about the movie bumble bee. I know that he is an 09 Camaro, but they also show shots of a 70's camaro. I'm guessing that there using that in the action shots since there not going to destroy one of GM's concept cars. Anyone else have some ifo on this? Quote

I didn't think they had arrived on our shores yet... All I can find in my immediate area is Bumblebee and Starscream. And the Wave 1 Legends and the Mini-cons. Then again, Argos might have him. You never know with them. I don't mind the Classics. I might get Starscream. And Grimlock doesn't look too bad either. I have a question about the movie bumble bee. UltraPrime Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I don't mind the Classics. I might get Starscream. And Grimlock doesn't look too bad either. Jetfire is the best of the lot. Just... perfect. He starts off as a (very) battle-damaged 70s Camaro. I think he then gets rebuilt later as the 09 Camaro. That is correct :-) Quote

Brainbox Posted March 17, 2007 Author Posted March 17, 2007 Just a heads up to some 3" Titanium price discrepancies. They're Quote
Echo Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Oh yes. I like Transformers a lot, more than most modern LEGO sets. (Heresy!) I have been collecting since late January. I have a total of twenty so far, all from the Cybertron and Classics lines, with the single exception of my Energon Unicron. Quote
Brainbox Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 with the single exception of my Energon Unicron. I bought Armada Unicron for Quote
Dark Brick Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 If they re-issued Omega Supreme, I would totally buy that one. :-D *wub* I have found Transformers at a recent visit to the Flea Market, but I declinded to purchase any due to the lack of weapons. Cheers! DB Quote
optimus-convoy Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Is Omega Supreme any good? I don't have him personally, but he is quite an impressive site. (there's even some electronics in there too) The main problem I could see someone having is all the pieces. *wacko* I don't mind the Classics. I might get Starscream. And Grimlock doesn't look too bad either. Jetfire is the best of the lot. Just... perfect. My favorite (of the ones I own) is Megatron, once you get over the color scheme he can be pretty great. Quote
Echo Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I think my favorite Classic that I own is Rodimus Prime. He has a nice color scheme, a pretty neat vehicle mode, and a darn spiffy robot mode. Ramjet looks pretty good too, but I don't own him yet. Starscream is okay, but he is a bit bland as far as colors go. Quote
Brainbox Posted March 23, 2007 Author Posted March 23, 2007 Starscream is okay, but he is a bit bland as far as colors go. Hopw can you say that? He's Starscream-coloured! ;-) Quote
Echo Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I bought Ramjet yesterday. He is by far my favorite figure to use the Classics Starscream mold. He has a nice color scheme, a cool robot mode, and a really neat vehicle mode. Plus, unlike Skywarp, he is not a exact clone of Starscream. Quote

In that case, I might have a look when we get Wave 2 over here. Quote
UltraPrime Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Is the Energon/Universe Arcee any good? Yeah, she's not bad. Don't own any Energon myself, but looks OK. MP Megs released this week! I shall be awaiting him eagerly :) Quote
Brainbox Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 Is the Energon/Universe Arcee any good? If you want some pics, there're some here. :-) EDIT: Just looking at some MP Megs pics today, and wow! He looks great. Menacing, yet stylish. I like how the trigger folds into the leg. The Energon weapons are a nice touch too. Quote
Echo Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I would be afraid to buy a Masterpiece. I play with my Transformers, (Very gently, but I still play with them.) so I would be afraid that some intricate, yet highly important part would break in my hand. Quote
UltraPrime Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Actually, they are alot more platable than you would think. Ball joints are the way to go! If you are a little too rough, they just pop off, and you can pop them right back on :) Quote
