Hello.

Recently I wanted to go to a Lego Bionicle Fans Meeting and take part in MOC-competition (unfortunately, it didn't take place).

I had about 2 days to build something, so I built this gold and grey tall Toa. His name is Évariste (this is a reference :P). I don't know why I don't have photos with weapon, maybe because his weapon doesn't look good. :|

Also, I don't have any cool story about him.

Wow, those pics are great ! Your MOC have a Steampunk feel that I love ! An those forearms are great, and the whole MOC is very well built. Unfortunately, the body is a bit too "blocky", IMO. :/ Also, I spot a hair on the third photo, near the neck. :P

Leewan was spot on- great build, I like the detailed steampunk-esque feel, but it's a bit too blocky.

Very nice build! I love all the detail you put into the body build.

That said, there is something off about the design and that issue lies in the mask selection. The mask doesn't mesh with the body, due to being very rounded and smooth, while the body is blocky (not a negative thing) and detailed.

It might look better with one of these masks: Ruru (Great or Noble), Komau (Great), Kaukau (original or Nuva) or maaaaaaybe Faxon. I do realize some of these masks weren't produced in colors that match the scheme done in the figure, but the detail and shape of the mask would be a better match to the body-type.

Hmmm, I had problem with Kanohi, because the only bright grey Mask I have was this one, maybe Turaga's Nuju maks suits much better, but I have no ability to get this mask.
