Whoa. That should make things more even!

Once I get my bricklink order tonight I should have my character scene finished. I'll have to trial shoot it and make sure it photographs ok. Then once that is all set I'll move on to the past scene. Been doing concept building, messing with various parts and techniques. I think I want to go pretty small and tight on the character scene also. The smaller I keep my builds the better until I'm a bit more competent.

My ancestor build is 99% done. I will post the current one at later date in same thread, as I will need to use some pieces from there.

Pointblank's heritage will be on the Mandalorian culture. The heirloom will a be a dark saber or vibroblade.

I am fairly excited about this build as it gives depth (albeit) to the Pointblank character and not just another trooper

Quick Question. The players index not updated, currently sitting at 7xp for me. I was 13xp with my previous freebuild, and should be 29xp (plus 16 personal XP from previous episode). I was wondering if I can work based on that, or should I wait for players index to be updated.

My character scene is done and photographed. Pretty happy with how it all came out. I'll have to tear it down to do my ancestor scene though, so I wanted to be sure things were ok before I did that.

I got all distracted working on a freebuild set up though, so I have to focus now. I have more freebuild ideas than time or bricks.

Looking forward to seeing what people come up with for this one.

I suspect this is mostly a personal preference type thing but, do you find yourself building the greebles as you build or do you build out the structure and then go back and add greebles where needed/seems appropriate? I'm kind of in both camps because I find I try to do some greebles, but I tend to get lost in that and have to move on or I'd rework greebles for days on end. So I try to do basic greebles as I go and then go back after to "clean up".

both, sometimes i come up with what i think is a cool looking greeble technique and base an entire build on that, other times i just throw some stuff together at the last minute because everybody loves greebles. my last freebuild evolved from those dbg flags on the back end of the ship

Does anybody want to collaborate with BEAVeR and I? We're doing a scene where Agent An and Officer VeR have crash-landed on a Hoth-like planet and are trapped in a temple built into the side of a cliff. Our build will split up the temple and cliff, but we need one or two more imperials (preferably pilots) to be present at our scene. We thought that somebody could build the crash-landing in the snow. Any takers? Ideally you could account for our minifigs and we could create yours (or just throw a helmet on it). Here's some WIPs of the cliff scene, which would not need to be incorporated into the crash landing. The one on the left is the latest version

That's the present (16x16) scene for this Episode. No specific level of skills required, just white bricks and a willingness to collaborate on the story.

Ah, if it is for the episode I'd be out anyway. I'm already done with the character scene and photos and about 50% through my ancestor scene build. I'd hate to scrap all that.

If there's no others wanting to, I wouldn't mind helping, though is it alright if it's a freebuild, rather than the main episode one? I should be able to build a crash scene if you give me a rough idea of what the ship looks like, but I also quite like the idea of building the interior of the temple.

Not a pilot, but if u need some sort of freebuild done, I will volunteer to help in any small way. I do have a quite bit of white bricks at the moment since I'm looking to build a hoth diorama during the holiday, and so far I haven't build any thing for hoth in SoNE.

Scenes are up. I hit up pick-a-brick this past weekend and managed to get some newer bricks, though the selection was pretty limited. Hoping that helps me in some of my future builds. I have a couple freebuilds I need to build to get my character arc headed in the right direction.

Sure, it looks fairly good, it almost made me feel excited.

To me, it was a little dissappointing. There were some pictures that were leaked which turned out to be true, and they were the parts I hope werent true.

The x wing pilot looks very plasticky, even though the ship scenes (lens flare included :D ) were very good. MF looks very compressed though, like the new dish on the MF after it was replaced from battle of endor.

At the moment, the young ones didnt look to exude star power but to be fair, they're new. However i do get the same vibe from pre vadar anakin, which is not a good thing.

They should have included a 3 second look of luke/han in there somewhere, perhaps in a later official trailer, but this one I felt they set a wrong tone. Hope the next one on may 4th will be longer and better. :)

This was a large part of my reaction. However, I also accept that this is a fast teaser trailer and that we are over a year away from it hitting theaters. It isn't done and there is likely going to be some re-work done. Overall, I'm trusting JJ to deliver. I figure he certainly can't do worse than the prequels.

I only participated in 2 other episodes so far, and the 1st one I did was a bit quiet like this one, the 2nd one came in a flurry near the end. You know how sneaky the Rebel Scums can get, all that planning and scheming , and shooting first in cantinas and all that.

In honesty though, was hoping to see more.
