Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion

'Lo chief,

I want to make a large MOC on the planet, and I know you explained what kind of planet Nar Eurbrikka is. I just can't visualize what you mean exactly.

I have this in mind for a scenery, hope you approve:

Nar Eurmount is the largest mountain on the horizon of Nar Eurbrikka and resides between the marshes and the edge of the dark spot of the planet, called Sombre Plains. A spot on the planet where sunlight only visits approximately three hours per rotation of the planet, which takes the planet about sixty hours. Making this area the coldest spot of Nar Eurbrikka. It can reach the same or worse temperatures and conditions of any ice planet.

If you need more info from my side... my story on paper is almost complete.

Sounds plausible to me! (I assume you mean 'marshes', not 'marches', since you didn't describe what the marches are a border between.)

Concore, I've updated the index with your new SoNE avatar, however, the one you embedded is 208x208, and it should be 100x100. I used the 100x100 version that the board automatically creates when you set it as your EB avatar, but it's always best to have another version that isn't used by your EB account, that way if you ever want to change your EB avatar in the future, you can do that without inadvertently changing your avatar in the SoNE Player Index. You don't have to do it now; just something to consider.

I'm curious about the imperial Gunners included in the next battle pack. Do they count as troopers or pilots? maybe some (imperial) players will wish to use it as avatar.

As Navy Troopers and having roles similar to technicians, they'd be better suited for the second rank, Imperial Survey Corps.

I'd like to join the Imperial Troops as a trooper.

Unfortunatelly I've only one stormtrooper at the moment, because I'm restarting to collect LEGO Star Wars.

That's the reason why I'm using a TCW Clone torso piece - I hope this works for joining.

For all that are interested in showing their progress in Shadow of Nar Eurbrikka, I've made a small sig-generator: http://www.bakahomepage.com/SONE

After you've entered all the informations about your character, the generator will give you some BBCode. Just copy and paste it in your signature using the profile editor.

You have the choice of either using a default avatar image, or provide a URL to a jpeg or png image. If you can, it is best you don't link directly to your EB profile picture.

Remember that you need to generate a new sig each time you gain XP.

Great work with the sig-generator. I really like the idea and the execution as well as the outcome. Maybe it could be connected to a DB somehow, so that it would automatically add XP and titles and update your current sig?

Linking from flickr is a bit tricky.

You need to open your image in flickr, click on "More way to share", select "Grab the HTML/BBCode", check "HTML", copy and paste the code somewhere, and then extract the part between doublequotes just after "src=". Then paste that into the sig-generator form.

Actually there's only one vowel, others are left out on purpose. I just prefer the automated versions of things, but this one's cool too. The thing is, I can now create a 100XP sig. Since it's a promotion for our groupbuild, maybe the link of the sig should lead to the introduction thread instead of the sig source?
