For everyone that is into digital building: in these episodes i've always refrained to use a lot of minifigs. the big reason was that in LDD, the necessary decorations are not available, rendering your scenes instantly unrealistic. For everyone who has experienced the same problem, I've uploaded a little tutorial about how to apply your own decorations for renders. Moreover, at the end I included some of my own decorations to decorate the stormtrooper and the TIE pilot. I hope you all find this useful.

You could have kept your Australian accent for the Stormtroopers though .

I appears the U.S.S. Storage Container, did not fare well. I managed to scrounge a few desert troopers, one stormie, one AT AT pilot and a Scout. Then, I have Veers, and an Imperial V-wing pilot, but still, not much :(. The sad thing is, I have more Rebels. Is it alright if I switch to the Rebel side? I've done one MoC, an Imperial one, but It's just a vehicle test. So, can I switch to the Rebels? (If I can't, that's fine)

EDIT: actually, nevermind. I found more stormies.

Well, I just ordered a Rebel battlepack. Might as well be a Rebel now, since I can more easily make Rebel minifigs.

I'll let a mod give the official answer, but if you notice, I made a freebuild on Ord Mantell and "got away with it"

To even things out, I've made decals for the rebel trooper and pilot as well (the pilot's torso is already in LDD, so you can just use that one). Here is the result:

I already thought it might come in handy for you (mostly because you explicitly said so ), so your welcome. Sorry for the wait, but my episode entry and my exams got higher priority than this. Making different expressions is fairly easy once you have these templates, so I hope to see them in you future entries! Any other requests?

I had a quick look, and it does support decorations! There's an area for each eye, and a big area on the top of the head, so reproducing the original design should not be a problem.

I'm a little late responding to this, but note that my first freebuild was on the Death Star (technically not a planet, but still...), and it went over fine. Still, part of the point in awarding planets to the winning team was to make people want to fight for the right to freebuild there.
