lightningtiger Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I feel a pack with Wookies might be the year after or maybe closer to 2013 (30th of ROTJ)! Next year should be CW again - hopefully some different clones and yes really hopefull for some Mandolorians ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
AnseltheCat Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Like many others, I too would like to see a Mandalorian battle pack next year. However, are we not far more likely to see a set with a Mandalorian or two in it way before we see a battle pack? Surely that would make far more financial sense to TLG? Quote

True, they would do large sets with them in first before a full battle pack. Otherwise the large sets wouldnt sell if everyone spammed the battle packs for all they need Quote
mordatre Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 (edited) Geonosians did have some of screentime in season 2 of the Clone Wars series. I think there were 3 (really good) episodes with them, so it´s not unlikely to see them in a set next year. Hopefully along with them heavily armoured clones carrying flametrowers. Smack Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 How about an ARF trooper or a Kashyyyk trooper battlepack? I think both would be welcomed as only one Kashyyyk trooper was ever released and the ARF Troopers were seen in season 1 of Clone Wars I think. & maybe we will finally get a tactical droid in a droid commando type battlepack. But I think it would be in Lego's best interest to throw a Mando pack out sometime as they would sell like brick hotcakes. Quote

Kashyyyk Trooper pack would be awesome, most people would buy a few boxes so the sales would be phenomenal! Quote
Tereglith Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 OT Battle Packs are about the only SW I still buy, so I'm hoping that the ones they do for ROTJ are good. Maybe they could mix it up a little, and have three - 1 with stormtroopers, 1 with Ewoks, and 1 with Rebel troops. That would be amazing. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Like many others, I too would like to see a Mandalorian battle pack next year. However, are we not far more likely to see a set with a Mandalorian or two in it way before we see a battle pack? Surely that would make far more financial sense to TLG? The IG droids, Hoth Rebels and Hoth Imperials didn't appear in any set before... I'm geussing they'll eventually get at least 1 BP for each episode: 1: New Gungans (imagine Gungan Patrol, but bigger ) VS Battle Droids (Lego, please don't just give us a tank-like thing with a few droids) 2: Jedi(?) VS Geonosians(Turret?) CW: Bounty Hunters(?) VS New clones(?) 3: Wookiees(small catamaran?) AND Mustufar Workers and Droids(floating platform/lava collection thing?) 4: Tusken Raiders(moisture vaporator/Bantha?) AND Jawas(crane?) ** 5: Bespin guards+Lobot(small Cloud Car)** VS Imperials/____-troopers(?) 6: Gammorreans/other guards(desert skiff, obviously) AND Ewoks/Endor Rebels(catapult/glider) *I'm saying this because I don't want everything to be droids (and Lego doesn't always make sense). **I don't think anyone here can give a reason why these could possibly be bad. KimT Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I'd love to have a Mandalorian Battle Pack, but most of all I'd die for a dual Endor BP. One with Rebel Troops (Endor Trooper / Ewok) and one with Imperial Forces (scout trooper/imperial trooper/at-st driver). I've merged this topic with the original topic on Battle Packs. (I know that topic could easily be missed in the Forum Index - so no fear ) Quote
k_peek_2000 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I'd like to see a set of 4 plain old fashoned storm troopers. I never had the change to take advantage of the classic STs. Quote

Nah, remember, the rebel trooper BP was the first appearance of them. Quote

Ai841 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Endor battle packs. Imperial could have 2 scouts, 1 regular storm, and 1 AT-ST driver, plus a brown speeder (a nice one, because there would be only one vehicle). Rebel could have two Endor rebels, and two ewoks, each with their own color. It could come with a hang glider, a catapult, or both, I don't know. Geonosis battle packs. Droid could have 2 droids, a super, and 2 Geonosians, coming with a turret (Dare I say, with a projectile of some sort?). Republic could have 3 ep. II clones, one commander of some sort, and... I dunno. Give them a turret too, I guess. Kashyyyk battle packs. Droid could have 4 droids in various colors and different weapons (sniper, rifle, antitank, be creative) and, if God himself shines his love on us, a spider droid? If you don't think that's enough minifigs, throw in a Super, I won't mind. Republic could have a clone, a Kashyyyk clone (the green scout trooper looking ones) and two wookies with slightly different designs, wielding crossbows, I guess. Give 'em a speeder or something. lt.Gonville brickhead Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 (edited) A mandalorian deathwatch battlepack against 1 clone,2 senate commandos an 1 mandalorian guard cant wait to see the next BP it will be a clone wars one (hasn't anyone noticed the patern) Edited May 29, 2010 by lt.Gonville brickhead Quote
The Legonater Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 cant wait to see the next BP it will be a clone wars one (hasn't anyone noticed the patern) Dude, we all have- if you look back it's been posted a million times. Quote
Zzz Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 No need for Mandolorians for me. But I guess I am the only SW fan who doesn't like the hype around Boba Fett and would prefer if there is only him, not thousands exactly looking like him.. I guess the TV series will not switch to Phase 2 clones too soon, so meanwhile I would love to have a pack with Phase 1 variations: - 1 Clone cold assault trooper - 1 Clone swamp trooper (as mentioned here pretty often as the Kashyyk Trooper) - 1 Arf Trooper with Camo - 1 Clone Scuba Trooper or 1 CLone Naval Officer or whatever plus speeder bike They all appeared in the TV show (Scuba guy in the first animation) and I think it would be a great way to have some variety, also it would encourage people to buy several, who doesn't want to have a small platoon of ARF Camo troopers...? I would! Quote
Destroydacre Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Dude, we all have- if you look back it's been posted a million times. With only 4 years of battle packs going so far, any 'trends' are speculative at best. I'd be very surprised if Lego didn't release Endor battle packs next year. Quote
Swash Buckler Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 What other type of SW battle pack would you like lego to create? I'd like to see: Wookie Battle Pack: 4 wookies with bowcasters and a flying vechicle similar to the one in the Wookie Attack set. Geonesian BP: 5 Geonesian soldiers with weapons+ a laser turret similar to the one in the previous Geonesian set. Gungan BP: 4 Gungan soldiers, 1 kadoo, one booma catapult Ewok BP: 4 Ewoks with bows and spears, a catapult and a hanglider. Yes exactly those i want to see too... but also naboo bp (with Padmé!), 501st (ep3 clone) bp with airborne/sniperlike armor, jedi bp with jedi of different species, few humans, maybe rodian/mon calamari... or some new aliens(?) mandalorian bp from TCW- with Death Watch members and Viszla (with new boba fett mold but death watch colors)... endor rebel bp -or bounty hunter bp (?) from TCW (?) Or those cool clones from geonosis episodes of TCW and Arf-troopers we need ARF's... and clone swamp troopers.... da*n it TLG should do at least dozen new bp:s Quote
BobaFett2 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Hmm, some battle packs: A sith battle pack A jedi battle pack A general grevious battle pack (just for fun, it would rock to have an army of them) A magna guard battle pack Ewok battle pack (or is there one already) A wookie battle pack Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 cant wait to see the next BP it will be a clone wars one (hasn't anyone noticed the patern) Um... What pattern? There hasn't been a real pattern, so I wouldn't say that it's CW yet(but without a pattern it's likely). Besides, there are alot of OT BPs. Quote

Thanks for not being an megablocks about it like on most other forums, if you make one mistake you get assaulted by anyone and everyone! Indeed, ewok battle pack is what im praying for soon Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I'd love to see these battle packs: -Ewok battle pack Minifigs: 3 ewoks with spears and bowcaster and wicket with an Imperial speeder bike and a little bunker in the shrubs. -Wookie battle pack Minifigs: 2 wookies with bowguns,2 wookies with spears and a tree like bunker with weapon holders and a little play feature. -Death Star battle pack Minifigs: 2 death star troopers,Storm trooper,Mouse droid,Death Star blast door and a mini hover bike for one of the death star troopers. -Yavin 4 battle pack Minifigs: General Dodonna,Leia,C-3PO,Rebel trooper and a control screen where it shows the x-wing and y-wing blips and 2 chairs on those 2x2 swivel plates. -Scout trooper battle pack Minifigs: 2 scout troopers on speeder bikes and 2 stormtroopers with a short blaster and long blaster and the scouts have a short blaster each. -Bounty hunter battle pack Minifigs: 4 bounty hunters from the clone wars (I don't know many people in the clone wars), a mini speeder to seat 2 people and they all have guns.
