Well it means that you will get everything from your order that is available - in most cases it will be Mini Mech :P

Same here. Mini Mech shipped today. 41999 still Backordered. Asked CS if i was guaranteed a set but no answer. They told me just wait and see...if i getting one.

When have you placed your order?

I ordered both the 41999 and the BTTF sets July 31st at about 11:30PM (EST) in the US. They shipped the next day and should arrive tomorrow. I haven't bought anything since the release of the UCS X-Wing, so I'm excited.

Can anyone suggest a good set of rechargeable batteries and a charger for this crawler. I am in the process of assembling mine, but as it is my first big technic set I have never had rechargeable batteries. thanks in advance!

What about using the lego rechargeable battery box?

Yes it is expensive (£50 euros) but it is us-full to have if you plan on building any motorized technic moc's of your own.

* Please note that you have to buy the plug separately.

La Crosse Technology Battery Charger, BC1000

Sanyo eneloop AA Ni-MH Batteries (you will need 6)

Sanyo eneloop AAA Ni-MH Batteries (you will need 3)

Storacell by Powerpax battery holders (optional, but recommended)

I called CS today and they told me that they sent me a mail to ask me if I can pay the bill with credit card. I dunno why I didnt do it from the beginning but well. POint is, I never received such mail, but two others that told me that there are delivery problems. Now I paid via phone/credit card and everything should be okay. SHOULD be, as my order was on hold for now and could be handled like a new order. Which means I get mine after all others and only if there enough left. But thats not sure

It's awesome that us top 100 get one as a prize, I feel very lucky but I wouldn't be surprised if our prize sets have been pushed back into the second batch and delayed for a few weeks after this mad struggle for the first crawlers. The wait is killing me!

Exactly what I was thinking. Cheaper than the Lego rechargeable box and no mod for the 41999 will be required.

I'm glad to say that my second parcel from Lego arrived this afternoon. I'll control my celebratory exubarations for now as I know many of you are still waiting (impatiently and understandably so!) for yours to arrive.

Speaking as I am about parcels arriving, who ever came up with the idea of sending out the Mini Mech separately to the Crawler needs a kick up the proverbial! The expense must have been enormous especially with the unnecessarily large size of the box the Mini Mech arrived in. If the two items had to be sent separately (I can't think that any of you good people would have been annoyed at having to wait for them to arrive together!) why not send the Mini Mech in a padded envelope?

I've not opened today's arrival yet nor will I be building it for quite some time as I've just started my 8458 Silver Champion which when finished will complete my Technic F1 trio.

I don't know what will be harder, building the Silver Champion or resisting the urge to put the whole lot back in the box and start the Crawler!

I was a bit late in getting my order in (backordered) at S@H so I called the Lego shop at Westfield (West London) and luckily they had a few left so put one aside for me. When I got there, there was only one left (out of a store allocation of 15). If I get my S@H order delivered too then I'll be delighted but I figured best not to take the chance if they run out and cancel my order.
