Here's a deal I can offer though- if you go obtain a warrant from the Town Watch, you may go inside."

Haldor interupts.

"No, that plan is folly. How do you think we would be able to explain the battle noise - and the fact that we've all disappeared without leaving the front door? This man is not an idiot, we must go and speak to the town watch, it is the only sensible thing to do."

The nord then turns to the bar owner himself.

"Thank you for your patience, friend, we shall return with the watch's permission to rid this establishment of its criminal occupants. Goodbye for now."

He then leads the group back outside, along the street and into the watch building, if no-body objects.

"Ave, group of people. I am Antony- captain of the Vigils. What brings you here?"

"Well hello there, Antony. We are friends of Brutus here in the city on a job. We have reason to believe that a notorious git named Bacari is staying in the inn just down this way. We`ll be needing a warrant in order to take the bastard`s head off once and for all; as he has done much wrong to our organization. Are you willing to give us a hand here? I'm sure that our mutual friend has made you aware of our purpose, and so the removal of this criminal in your midst can hardly hurt our quest, and your future."

He winks.

"Ohh? I do not know of this Bacari. What crime is he committing?"

"Right now, the slimy bloke`s operating a prostitution gang in your lovely little town, as Romulus discovered first-hand. He can probably tell you more about it than me. In through past he's been wanted for murder and other such nefarious deeds. Believe me, Bacaright is a bad man."

"Signor Bacari betrayed Heroica, and from there no one knew where he went until I encountered him in Charis, when he was fighting for the Fantome Croise, the psychopath who murdered a hell of a lot of people. It appears now he is in Laticum, running a criminal organisation, or at slightest a prostitution ring. He was actually operating it from the inn next door with one accomplice at the scene. I attempted to fight them, but was severely outmatched so I retreated for help. Now, the owner of said establishment refuses to let us at him without a permit."

"But mark my words, if Bacari is allowed to stay here, prostitution will be the least of his concerns. He will make a move for power. "

"Some of our boys also told me of how he liked to take part in some heavy piracy near the Abra desert, going so far as to attack their ship in an effort to loot its contents."

Antony's eyes widen as the list goes on and on.

"Piracy! This will be great for Laticum's reputation if we arrest this man, it is a serious crime, punishable by hanging. Signor Bacari is a very bad person, hehe. Oh, and did you say he's running a prostitution ring? So he's the one behind it! Laticum has been experience a crime surge and 'sinful activities' are on the rise. I trust you Heroicans, so I give you a task. There are 2 criminal rings. Apprehend and shut down both, and you will have an increased reputation with the masses of Laticum."

Will the party now prepare for their task?

"SoundS good. Are the warrants around here on papyrus? "

"Be right back, let me write one. Sometimes we don't as here they are being phased out. It's because a new law passed in the Senate proposed by Julio. It gives the Vigils more power which is very helpful sometimes. Though between you and me, it could mean trouble for the citizen populace."

Antony writes a Warrant from upstairs, and brings it back.

Harder then leads the group back towards the inn to tell the owner their good news, and start work on cleansing the city

You return to the inn, where the owner is happy to accept the warrant, and act as helpful as possible.

"Thank you, right upstairs."

Upstairs, you barge in and interrupt the ring. Bacari smiles as Romulus walks in again, but it quickly fades as more heroes walk in.\

"You're back. And you brought your friends I see. Come on, no need for trouble. Let's make a deal here, 25 gold, you get the girl." It occurs to you that accepting this deal could bring certain consequences/effects, for good or bad.

Decided by the roll of die, you have an equal chance to become either Encouraged , Hastened, Blessed, Poisoned, Lucky, or Enamored to your first target in the next battle. Each other effect lasts for 1 battle.

"What kind of sick man are you? Talking of me paying you money to use someone else's body... like slavery. How long did you think you'd last? Running this kind of businesses, it'd only a matter of time until some nice bloke comes to shut you down. The girl's coming free with us, Bacari - and there ain't nothing you can do to stop us."

Haldor draws his weapon quietly behind his back.
