Well, one year has passed and minifigures series 10 and 11 were spoilered long before their actual launch, so I wasn't able to place a minifigure guessing game.

But good news, everyone (I'd need a Farmsworth emoticon here ;D), as I am back with your favourite (or at least not-least-favourite) game, the minifigures guessing game.

So here's the game:

You tell me the list of the 16 minifigures you think are likely to be released on series 12.

Please do not list the minifigures that you wish to appear as there is another topic. (EG. you'd love a space zombie alien dragon, but you think it's unlikely, well do not post it).

I know it's difficult but please, please, please do not be generic. A s "some sports minifigure" will award you no points.

This game is getting slightly harder as the time goes by. Starting from my Series 9 guess list I had to cross out seven figures that have since been produced. There's still nearly infinite possibilities for new figures, but many more of the most obvious choices have been done in the meantime.

I didn't list any of the things seen in The Lego Movie trailer, as that would've felt a bit boring to me, and anyway we don't know yet if we'll see Panda Suit Guy and co. in the special movie-connected series or in regular Series 12.

Yeah. It seems like an obvious chance to reuse Musketeer's sword, and fencing suit is quite a striking visually. I had the fencer already on my Series 8 guess list and I'm gonna keep it in until they make one... it's only a matter of time. (personally I don't have much interest in the said figure, but that is more or less true of all the sports and city ones)

This seems highly likely.

I will try to think of a list, but I would love to see some more historic and musical figures.

1) Arabian Swordsman. (Basic, with a POP Turban, Scimitar and maybe a Ruby or something.)

2) Female Gardener. (Wide-brimmed hat, watering can and a nice, red flower.)

3) Victorian-style Queen. (One of those poofy dresses, and a little scepter. )

4) Pizza Delivery Boy. (Sort of like Pepper Roni- With a baseball cap, a new "pizza box" piece and a pizza with a new decal.)

5) Tanuki. (Self-explanatory.)

6) Golfer. (With Golf clubs and a GOLF BAG for carrying them in! )

7) Female Archaeologist. (Can't have two many pith helmets.)

8) Evil Overlord. (Featuring the big, bulky, spiky armor, cape, huge staff, evil helmet, ghostly face...)

9) Female Butterfly Collector (However, that might be too stereotypical and sexist. But I know that an insect collector will come eventually.)

10) Matador. (Classic! Red, hand-held cape, that oh-too-familiar hat, and it's a shame we can't get a bull with him! )

11) Billionaire. (Short, top-hat, white mustache, moneybag similar to Santa's toy bag, think "Uncle Pennybags" style.)

12) Elven Priestess. (Clothed in white, and wielding a staff. Should satisfy the fan's desire for a female elf, but may be too similar to a future LOTR Galadriel.)

13) Eldritch Abomination. (This is more of a wish than an expectation, but I'd be satisfied even if it was a campy, purple, three-eyed Cthulhu. ANYTHING for a Cthonic minifigure! )

14) Probably some form of Barbarian.

15) Bard. (Medieval Court Clothes, with a new guitar piece. Basic enough.

16) Zombie Fighter. (Scarred and weathered looking, yet brave and courageous. Armed with some kind of rifle and dynamite, and PLEASE LEGO, GAS MASK!)

These are always fun to speculate.

1) I like the idea of a pizza delivery person with a 2x2 tile with box printing. I'd assume a hat/shirt with the pizza chain logo.

2) Lion Suit guy similar to the lion head in the HP video game. That'd be perfect.

3) Flight Attendant (female). Could include one of the vintage style hats, similar to the Butcher's hat.

4) Female dark elf to counter the series 3 elf.

5) Mountie with hat.

6) Soccer player counterpart to fill the sports niche. I'd like to see a female soccer player to get something different and something the same..

7) Black Falcon soldier to army build. To coincide with the Joust knight.

8) Cupid with small wings and small molded bow/arrow (maybe pearl gold in color)

9) Boxer with a different color, maybe black this time. I don't count the Olympic boxer as the counterpart to the red boxer.

10) girl scout with short legs. Maybe a 1x2 tile with cookie box print. I'm sure they would need a license for an official girl scout, so something resembling one without actually being one.

11) Roman societal figure with a white toga instead.

12) Albert Einstein-esque scientist fellow.

13) Bearded Lady or the half-man/half-woman circus figure. LEGO might avoid this one, but it could add some variety to circus MOCs with the ringmaster and the clowns.

14) Male figure skater

15) Maestro of an orchestra

16) Matador. Someone said that up above. That'd be really neat to see. Have to have a red cape of some sort to hold out though. LEGO might avoid this one too due to the nature of the "fighting."

It was really hard to come up with a lot of these. Makes me appreciate how much effort goes into it from the designer's standpoint then.

Please note that this topic is for the "guessing game".

It means that you try to predict the 16 minifigures, not the ones you want.

EG: you can think a Tin Man (since they did the green faced witch and the scarecrow) to be very likely by fitting the Oz universe, yet you would never like such a minifigure? Ok, here's the place.

EG: you would want so much a spitfire dragonhead minifig, but you think that's highly unlikely. Well, this is not the topic for you.

Well, as a fan of CMF I'll make a prediction again. Maybe some of my thoughts won't be my own, with lots of repeats, but the ones I think are going to appear are:

1) Female pirate OR pirate sailor - we have the captain, we need the crew! An obvious fig, since POTC and Pirates-2009 are quite old now

2) Lion Suit Guy - as a mascot - why not?

3) Lady with a new dress part (a popular guess, based on Boudon's sketch)

4) Western Sheriff (simply to reuse Lone Ranger's parts)

5) Renaissance man with a beret (like the Bagpiper) and maybe a little white sculpture\bust or a picture.

7) A cook

8) Male Doctor

9) Asian Fisherman (with Sensei Wu's hat)

10) Realistic Astronaut

11) Retro firefighter or fire chief - re-usage of Constable's great helmet

12) Holiday man (with colourful version of Sad Clown's hat)
