Jim Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) These are some really helpful pictures! Thanks for your cooperation Next weekend I will try to finish the model. Damn...I need more yellow panels, but even though the 42009 crane MK II has been released, they are still pretty expensive on Bricklink. Guess that makes a nice excuse to purchase the crane I should have bought the 8264 hauler Maybe I will do some Building Instructions as well Edited August 8, 2013 by Gekke Ted Quote
Denny Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) I have also just bought the crane because of the bricks. I will not build him These Sets I have:  Edited August 8, 2013 by Denny Quote
Jim Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) I have also just bought the crane because of the bricks. I will not build him I might do the same I will probably only build the undercarriage, but maybe I feel like building the entire model. We'll see. I also have half a crawler stored somewhere, which I need to dismantle for the new motors Nice collection btw Edited August 8, 2013 by Gekke Ted Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Really nice looking model. I too like how many functions you have squeezed into that small frame. Quote
Denny Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 Here are the last pictures if anyone wants to build it Here are all the parts I have used: Quote

LegoGBC Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) NIce! But you have a small mistake, you wrote: Includes:6 L-Motors > 4 for the Arms and Hands > 1 for Head and 1 for the Eyes. While there are 6 M-Motors and 2 L Motors Edited August 9, 2013 by LegoGBC Quote

legosamigos Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 It looks very sweet :D , but instead a lot of the gears in the arms , I would use the linear actuators :) Quote
Denny Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 The Linear Actuators are not fast enough for beckoning Quote
legosamigos Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 The Linear Actuators are not fast enough for beckoning Well, there are a lot of kinds of gears, so you can try some of them :) Quote
Jim Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 It's designed to be simple and these gears do a pretty good job! Quote
