August 7, 201311 yr Continuing to improve. Sand looks better now that it's not flat; I think the only thing it's missing is some smaller 1x1 and 1x2 plates randomly placed around the mini dunes to smooth things out. Same with the ruins; they're only missing some smaller bits to finish off the look. I like the tank, too, though I would try something a bit more angular, less curved in the middle cabin area.
August 7, 201311 yr Nice work on the tank! I can see some integrated TLG techniques in this version, so I assume you did some research!
August 7, 201311 yr Author Thanks to you all, I did check out the instructions on brickset and downloaded a couple reference pics, it's 15 % (or so) smaller than the official version but I do feel like it does look better despite it has no other function than the rear acces door (which doesn't matter since all my sets are only for display purposes).
August 7, 201311 yr Excellent tank, though you may want to throw some tan on it to represent dust or such to add some color. Reminds me of those used in Empire at War.
August 8, 201311 yr Author Reminds of the tanks in the Battlefront games. Nice job! Thats the one that I mean.
August 8, 201311 yr Miles better than TLG version, but doesn't the IFT-T have a turret on top? Reminds me of those used in Empire at War. That's the 2M, this tanks successor.
August 8, 201311 yr Author The tank is the star of the build, the scene is almost secondary, I had to disassemble it for my challenge entry. Miles better than TLG version, but doesn't the IFT-T have a turret on top? That's the 2M, this tanks successor. Yes but I had to remove that feature in order to fit a driver inside.
