Karie, in her constantly stacking anger against the green-eyed demon, lashes out against the Oculoid. As the demon is driven back Johon and Althior attack the Fourths. Johon reples the onslaught of small Aquamaws and ravages them, whittling down their helath further and pocketing some coins wirling in their aquatic bodies. Althior swiftly dodges an aquamaw's bite and electrocutes it, harming them all in the process. A wave washe sover Johon, knocking him back, but it lacked the power it did previously - the Aquamaw was battered and weary, bubbling from the buase it had recieved. One fourth takes a half hearted lunge at Karie, managing to half the witch's HP. The Green Oculoid watches in horror as his beast gets closer and closer to defeat. "This... This... This is wrong. This is all wrong. You should all be dead...! Why isn't this working?! I will be Chief of this squadron, dammit! I will crush you...!" He frantically hovers on the water's surface, trying to blast bursts oif darkness to revive his fallen beast. It was for naught: he had exhausted his supply of magic, his body weakened from the act of summoning the Aquamaw. "What...? What?? But... How... HOW? How did this happen? I was going to be the Chief! That fool thought he could be a Mastermind... I was rip his current title right under his retina! Come on... Revive, dammit!" Striding over to her target, Karie raises Sexy up and begins to mercilessly and repeatedly stab the Oculoid, over, and over again. "SHUT UP!! SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!" She held nothing back. She doesn't hold back at all, a rage taking hold over her heart and refusing to let go. She stabs over and over and over - almost dozens of times, it seemed - jets of ink spurting out from every stab. The oculoid recoiled back with every blow, simply laughing under his breath as Karie massacred him. He was too weak to take it, and too willing to resist. After what seems to be a never ending onslaught, the oculoid utters one last sentence, pointing a ragged terntacle towards the skyline: In the distance, the party can see purple plumes of smoke billow from deep within the forest. "Kyah... Kyah heh heh heh HEHEHEHEH... Do you see that, h-heroes? Where there is smoke, there is fire.. and when there is fire, there is a demon fanning it. The f-final battle await, heroes. D-do you think you can handle i-" Karie goes for another merciless stab, the oculoid falling silent as Sexy plunges through him. He looks down at the Rapier for a few moments before bursting in a cloud of darkness, splashes of ink scattering throughout. Karie steps away from the demon's corpse, covered in ink head to toe. Even with the demon destroyed, his foul vitriol remained burnt into her mind... Will the party proceed? Edited September 5, 2013 by Endgame Quote

She could tell the other two would probably want it. "Well, I can see all of us are perfectly capable of using this item. I'd love to have this thing, but if one of you wants it, we can negotiate over it. This is after all a rather nice... arm." "I don't need it. Id prefer rather to have some gold and either the Nostrum or smelling salts. Plus the tonic could be useful for when I get my undead army back..." "I don't have a mouth, you unobservant brat." The demon's foul diatribe still lingered in her head, stinging her guilt and fears. She felt physically and mentally exhausted, as she sat on the ground, the ink continuing to stain her. She picked up the lopped off arm of the Oculoid and simply sat there. Finally she spoke up. "You guys can have the rest. I've fulfilled my promise. He was the first one of his foul lot I axed off." Karie sits in the pool of ink for another minute before continuing speaking. "Just, give me a few seconds to... clear my head. We'll get moving in a second. Best we ready up now." Kintobor Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Karie gets out of the ink puddle and chugs down a mead and a mulled wine. She then uses her healing abilities on herself, and Johon. She then uses a grand tonic on herself. Afterwards, she begins to pace about, jogging on the spot every now and then. She finally takes in a deep breath before facing the party again. "Alright, I think I'm good to go now. Well... whenever you're ready." Despite her mannerisms being right, Karie could tell her voice was giving hints of lament. She hoped the party would ignore it and think nothing of it. Or maybe she didn't. Quote
