Johon digs his shovel in D6, pull up a large shovelful of dirt, the tool nearly bending from the weight. The party looks curiously into the hole dug, only to see a black claw inside the soil... It seems to sense the sunbristling on its claw, convulsing from the light. With a hiss its full body emerges - first another claw shoots up from the dirt, and then a tail rises up from the ground. The soil sifts away to reveal the from of a massive scorpion, its eyes glowing a malignant blue. Two more iron-clad bugs scurry up from the ground, two toxic tendrils slithering up; They slowly advance towards the party, getting ready to pounce. One thing was obvious from these creatures: none of these were native to the forest! What was going on here...? The group of foes assault the party, the heroes not yet having time to ponder what was happening. Prepare for Battle!
