Posted August 11, 201311 yr Hello I have read along after over a year here in this forum, and all the builders and engineers and the phantasmic ideas have inspired me to an own MOC. Now I want to introduce my first finalized MOC. Template for my MOC is the heavy-duty truck FAUN L908, which was built in the period from 1957 to 1960 mainly for use with the German Bundeswehr. Here it is! All bricks are legal LEGO-Stuff, ecept the tires! August 11, 201311 yr Wow, just wow! This MOC is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Keep up the fantastic work!!! :D
August 12, 201311 yr Whoa, very cool truck and detailed scale model! And these tires give them real bad@ss look. Did you modifiied the rims to fit the tires?
August 12, 201311 yr Author Many thanks for the nice comments. Did you modifiied the rims to fit the tires? No I have used the rims in their original form. The inner diameter is about 40 mm and the tires fit perfectly on the rims.
August 12, 201311 yr That is a great looking truck. Those tires almost makes it look the a real truck.
August 12, 201311 yr Just amazing! The only way it could be better is if I was Lego size sitting in the seat!
August 12, 201311 yr Very impressive! Great job, and your camera work was fine! I sure like that kinda truck.
August 13, 201311 yr Damn, that is some awesome work! Almost didn't see that it was Lego at first glance
August 13, 201311 yr Wow, So detailed... And those tyres are perfect in your MOC Somewhere I read that the TLG is the number one world maker of tyres by number yet they only make those lame balloons. worse yet those are shrinked version of the old 8466 tyres
August 14, 201311 yr That is amazing work! By the way hi guys, this has been my first post in quite a while. Fantastic. I love the military look it's got. Great little tires, too. Little tires? Cusoo for new TLG tyres? Hahahaha, that's a knee slapper!
