TheLazyChicken Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 The train station looks awesome! Quote
CityBuilder Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I really like the new passenger train and station now, it's very tempting to buy them. Quote
wackyfm Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Yep, just saw the novelties on display and the two trains are definitively on my buying list. As well as the creator Bike Repair and coffee shop and some of the arctic sets, especially for the new dog. There was a very nice Friends shopping mall as well. Other than "town" related, the new Star Wars snow speeder and cantina sets are very nice and was disappointed by the lack of focus on LOTR and The Hobbit. Wakwak Quote
sin Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Advent Calendar -Sci Definitely it is not... Quote
bekindsorewind Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I love how the train station has pretty much everything the 2010 version had and more. It has the taxi cab (newly designed) and some lovely new additions such as the "food court" and LEGO gift shop! Quote

Mr. Elijah Timms Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 THAT BLUE CARGO TRAIN... MUST... TRY TO... RESIST.... Aawwww who am I kidding! I love that set!! Quote
elleana Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Ohh myyyy. All three train sets look like must buys. Arghhhh. So many buyable sets, so little money.. Quote
LegoSjaak Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Well, those are really nice sets.. i also like the ICE train, although i expected not too much of it.. Maybe i like this one the most of the three sets... The station is okay as well and the blue Cargo train is a set with high playability! Great stuff... will have to buy it, i guess...! Wakwak Do you mind telling us a bit more about the Heartlake Shopping Centre, perhaps over in the Friends rumours thread? It'd be great to know a bit more, so far we've seen one blurry image that was just confusing more than anything. Quote
lifeinplastic Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Can anyone tell if the station set includes stickers? It looks like I'd be able to build something very similar from my existing parts and there are no new minifig torsos, etc which make this not worth buying for me, as nice as it looks. I only ask because some of the Friends sets (the lemonade stand for example) have printed tiles, which are much better IMO. Quote

I would say.....DSS totally, all the Lego boxes, Lego sign, station signage, menu, etc., Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I have just noticed after careful study of the new train station that the shop window is made up of 12 wide windscreens......I haven't seen Lego do that to a building before. Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Advent Calendar -Sci Yet again we have police & criminals in an advent calendar! 2005 Police 2006 Police 2007 Fireman 2008 Criminal 2009 Police officer 2010 Surprisingly Police/Fire free (Must've run out that year!) 2011 Police 2012 Fire 2013 Fire & Criminal Quote
larsyuipo Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 i want to see something else than police and firemen. Like school and more town parts. More houses and kids Quote

So 2013 was more than fire/criminals. Quote

The Jersey Brick Guy Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I have never purchased or owned any train sets before, this year I am going to buy all 3 sets. They are soo nice. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Huskies don't look completely finalized. I also don't see the need for a new parka mold... -Sci Quote
Wodanis Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 The arctic sets look great! I'm really liking the new train station too. I will definitely buy it. All in all I think lego has done an excellent job with these sets and the new trains. Quote
sin Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 All of the train sets look awesome! I am surprised that I really like the arctic sets also, they don't exactly fit into my collection but I think my son will love them. Quote
scottwb2010 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Cheers for posting the Artic pics C4MS. Im realy liking this theme more and more. The tracked vehicle on the 60036 Base Camp reminds me of a Pisten Bully snow groomer. Think the vehicle on the 60035 outpost would have been better tracked also IMO. All in all the theme looks good. Would like to see the 60062 Artic Ice Breaker. Quote
