I usually like the Friends sets for what they are but the mall set looks very messy. Like the designers came up with 4-5 set designs with spare parts and got rejected. So instead they stuck them together and make a $100 set.

Is it just me, or are those french fries at the second restaurant next to the pizza place?

Woah, nice spot! Is it a new mould, or are they using this piece? If they are using that piece, what's the bottom piece?

That's what it looks like to me, but in yellow which is a color it doesn't come in today. I think under it they just have a 1x1 round brick, but I could be wrong.

A mermaid minidoll!

Part of the Disney Princess range, I'm not sure if that tail will be making it's way into the Friends line - too fantastical would be my guess.

But Olivia at 3.36, far left - is that a new green?! It's kind of sage coloured, and some clothing seems to be tan/sand coloured, sort of khaki-ness going on too, Jungle Clothes yay!!! And her neck scarf is just the best. I'm really really hoping for some more clothes for the darker skinned Friends though - getting exactly the same Kate in Stephanie's Beach House was a huge disappointment.

The accessories are the same ones from Heartlake Vet, and I think one or two bits have been in the CMF as well, so I think they should be fine with minifigs.

During this long, miserable winter in the US, most of us would cherish a seat on that raft.

A refreshing design with more cute animal pals. Long live Friends!

Cool. Lovely new parts. Loving the vine and the palm fronds in lime. I'm crossing my fingers that Lego will release some of these Friends animals reprinted and recoloured for the city line as a zoo sub-theme. They've used the CMF baby chimp here but Friends-ed up. I'm sure some could go the other way, such as the panda and turtle.

Also, this'd be a cracking parts set. Those light blue, tan and green plates and all that lovely reddish brown and dark orange.

Oow. Just noticed the new daffodil type flowers (brilliant for a Welshy like yours truly) and more of those ace ice-cream cones used as Tiki lanterns with a flame in them. Very cool.

Have the old school walkie talkies ever been produced in anything other than black, dark grey or dark bluish grey? I can't remember if they had them in blue and white back in the 80's with the space sets or not.

Cute set, though do pandas live in a jungle like that ?

Again, it might appear Lego designers need geography lessons ?

Gee, in Heartlake I wonder how young you can be to get your license to practice as a vet ?

Why didn't the vine pieces debut in the Parisian Restaurant set? It would have really set off the look of the back of the building instead of using those common tree leaf pieces for ivy. Oh well, I can always modify it.

The same can be said for Rapunzel's Tower. The use of vine pieces would have been so much better than those awful giant stickers we ended up with.
