Boettner Builds Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Okay after I have gotten my First minifigure of the Lego Movie, I never seen them again at all Check your local TRU and Walgreens. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Have these just vanished? I haven't been keeping up, but it would appear my local Target and "local" Lego store are all out. Did I miss something, like ya know, the series? Tis' a shame if I did, I only have 4 of the figures! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I saw them in February around me and they sold out fast. No one restocked. Methinks the movie was a hit Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I saw them in February around me and they sold out fast. No one restocked. Methinks the movie was a hit Me thinks I missed out big time, should have made getting these a priority. Quote
Fritzy Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Me thinks I missed out big time, should have made getting these a priority. Same here. Haven't been able to find a trace of them now that I'm interested in buying. Looks like the ship has sailed and I didn't even make it to the pier. Quote
Super Goblin Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Same here. Haven't been able to find a trace of them now that I'm interested in buying. Looks like the ship has sailed and I didn't even make it to the pier. Check the buy/sale/trade forum. There are some available in there for a great price, including from me. I was able to get Marsha Mermaid and Calamite Drone via a trade so now I have all 16. Crazy I never came across those two at retail. Quote
SMC Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 after getting the final few I needed I started seeing them everywhere including the lego store which has restocked and lot of other stores have also restock the smaller sets which were getting very hard to find Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 If they restock over here too, that's great news. I of all people didn't jump on the series bandwagon and only got Marsha before I heard later that they've sold out almost everywhere. I like all of the minifigures in this series to some degree (even the makeup bots, Just2good!) and hope to find them somewhere. I'll be on the lookout. Quote
Dragonfire Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 My local WHSmith and Sainsburys' still has a half-full box or two of TLM minifigures. (They used to have about five full boxes). I have now accumulated Wiley Fusebot, Shakespeare, President Business, Larry the Barista, and, yesterday, Bad Cop. I have found almost all of them by feeling the polybags- not Calamity Drone or Mrs Scratchen-Post though. I'm pretty happy that the next set of minifigs is the simpsons. I can't stand that show and will not be buying any of the minifigs. Makes my wallet happy! So true, so true! Quote
SweetiePie88 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) I won't be buying any either but it's from the price tag perspective. the show is interesting and I really want a mr burns but I can't justify the 4 buck price tag. Sure it's just a buck more but now for the same price, I could get a lego friends animal polybag that has a lot more parts. Edited April 12, 2014 by SweetiePie88 Quote
Jared Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Apparently the LEGO stores near me have them, but according to the staff I talked to they'll only be re-stocking in May. I'm not quite sure why though... Quote

ShadowWolfHount Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I have gotten 15 of the Collectable Minifigures and I only gotten 4 new ones and all the other are just the same thing. All I need left is Abraham Lincoln, President Business, Where Are My Pants Guy aaaand Velma Staplebot. Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I wonder why they made Velma so rare. She'd be great in the Evil Lair's boardroom. Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) Ugh, she's one of the two I'm missing.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I think that "may restock" will be the Simpsons since they come out in May. i guess I'll just spend $12 to complete my collection... http://www.amazon.com/Movie-William-Shakespeare-Minifigure-Series/dp/B00HC224SU http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Minifigure-Collection-Series-Staplebot/dp/B00HC1SMSW/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1397684782&sr=1-1&keywords=velma+staplebot Edited April 16, 2014 by Tolkien Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) I don't know why Velma is rare but am I the only one who gotten way too many Emmet and Scribble-Face Bad Cop because I am getting those a lot. Edited April 16, 2014 by ShadowWolfHount Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) I thought Emmet was less common. I know Scribble-Face is more common. Do you buy blind, or do you mean you find a lot of those two? Edited April 17, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
Super Goblin Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I managed to find two Velma's and several of everyone else except Calamite and Marsha. Quote
SweetiePie88 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Tolkien, why not try bricklink? Maybe you could find it for a lot less and maybe even pick up some spare parts if theres anything you need. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Tolkien, why not try bricklink? Maybe you could find it for a lot less and maybe even pick up some spare parts if theres anything you need. I was about to tell him that but I look at BrickLink and it the same, the only way you can get a cheep one is to buy it along with the other minifigures. So bricklink can't help you there. I thought Emmet was less common. I know Scribble-Face is more common. Do you buy blind, or do you mean you find a lot of those two? I don't get what you mean, right now I have gotten all the Lego Movie Collectable in there blind bags at Walmart. Quote
Super Goblin Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I have several in the trade forum for less than retail but it seems no one is interested. I don't know why more people don't use the trade forum. Quote

I second the trade forum idea as well. I am currently trading with mattfl. If you guys want to increase the visibility of your have / want lists, perhaps you should make a link to that post in your signature file. That way you are reminding everyone politely with each post. sithewok Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I've also had some good luck trading on swapfig.com - hopefully it isn't a no-no to "advertise" a different site. Quote
