Posted August 12, 201311 yr Time for a MOC from space - it was made for a competition at Swebrick. The idea was to design an X-Wing killer as an alternative to the classic TIE-fighters. As this ship is not a true StarWars vehicle, I decided to put it in the Sci-Fi section instead. The (fantasy) story behind the ship was that the Sinear Fleet System (the company behind the legendary Lambda Class T4a shuttle) was developing a new weapon system that should combine the flexibility of a star fighter and the long range capabilities of a cruiser. The ship is a prototype for testing weapons and propulsion system, build using spare parts and leftovers from other ships to save cost. The final product would have been much sleeker when finished, but the project was cancelled due to budget cuts by the Empire... The build was intended to be minifig-scale and to resemble the Lambda style without making a straigt copy in a different color. A lot of detailing of course, and serious weapons... . Features are folding landing gear (using a linear actuator inside the body) and equipped interior (folding canopy). It is rather fragile so it is more a display piece than at swooshable toy... Thank yoy for watching!

August 12, 201311 yr Incredible! The back is particularly good, though that's not to say the front and sides aren't also great

August 13, 201311 yr Awesome ship Illuwatar! Very detailed, it reminds me of the personnel carrier ship from Alien 3. I love the skull, as well. Great job
