Lord Vladivus Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Nice to see your throwing yourself in MassEditor! Builds not for a challenge count as freebuilds, and should contribute points to our coffers. At least, I think that's the way it works. I also have nearly finished up my second Warlords build, I need to check the stud count again though- I might be over! Quote

SkaForHire Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 One question though, do free builds I make for Nocturnus outside of a challenge count towards anything for our Guild? For instance, if my third phase Warlords build doesn't make the deadline can I still post it to some advantage for Nocturnus? To confirm, yes, they earn gold. In book 1, Gold = who is "babysitting" the kingdom. Avalonia won, therefore they technically have the throne. With all the civil war, I guess it is just barely. Book II there will be something a bit different. In book III the leadership has talked about being able to spend gold during the saga instead of at the end. Nothing is set in stone though. Quote
MassEditor Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the encouragement Lord Vladivus and Ska for the quick answer! My first Warlords build is now up: Warlords: Anfauglir: Phase 1 Edited April 30, 2014 by MassEditor Quote

Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 @kabel: I thought that some of the free builds from Book I weren't in that score: Challenge VI Scores are in! You can see the updated tallies in the Story and challenge headquarters. Kalphlin and Mitgardia... oh boy... heehee More official announcement soon! Okay, make it official... Winners for each guild- Mitgardia (highest scoring guild this round) - Ecclesiastes by one point! Avalonia (second highest team score this round) - ZCerberus, disqualified for refusing to sleep with a judge, and Orc shall go to Captain Beerbeard Kalphlin- (third this round and knocked out of overall second place by Mitgardia by ONE gold) Gideon by 1/2 a point! Nocturnus- Dr Rod for the second straight challenge! I will also add not ALL the freebuilds have been scored yet, so final numbers may move a bit. Be sure to check the story and challenge headquarters for the current guild gold tallies! Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 That is indeed what it said. Any chance they will ALL be scored- probably not. I think it is as official as it will get for now. Quote
kabel Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I've always liked the fact that we beat Kaliphlin by one gold, so lets keep at this, it makes for some nice GoH folklore ... Quote

You forget the blizzard that gave you the idea for a sandstorm... Since the end of Book 1 and coming into Book 2, Mitgardia has been producing a lot of freebuilds. Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 Well we all know that Gold matters not to Nocturnus. We only crave power! Quote
PenPlays Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Well we all know that Gold matters not to Nocturnus. We only crave power! Ah, but you've heard of the golden rule, haven't you? Whoever has the gold makes the rules... Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 We aren't interest in making the rules, just breaking them. Quote
Gilbert Despathens Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Ah, but you've heard of the golden rule, haven't you? Whoever has the gold makes the rules... I might have to write that one down. It's pretty good. Quote
PenPlays Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I might have to write that one down. It's pretty good. It's a quote made by Jafar from Disney's Aladdin. When I read "gold" and "power" in the same sentence, that quote was my first thought. Quote

Microdragons Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Hello, could I perhaps enter a Sig-Fig that is just a disembodied soul. ( A.K.A two or three blue trans. clear heads.) Quote
robuko Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 ^Yes of course. You control the action! Welcome to Nocturnus! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Damn that sounds like a cool idea! Welcome to Nocty! Have some enchanted pumpkin pie! Quote
Microdragons Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What about blood pie? Hmmmm? And I don't want to be gobbled. Quote
Microdragons Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Alrighty then, never mind the disembodied soul, I just found this pic I took a while ago and have never posted it. https://docs.google....dit?usp=sharing Lohfelden is a great warlock whom unlike the others, (There are others, granted.) he was undead. This was because a necromancer found his bones and melded them to his soul. Who up until then had been having a jolly good holiday haunting Moruth, away from its body. The result was a creature that wants to kill itself but can't, so it settles for the tribes instead, decmating many of their populations to nothing. Oh and did I mention he bakes the most divine man-eating blood pies? Would you like one? Edited May 14, 2014 by Microdragons Quote
