June 7, 20159 yr Greetings, members of Nocturnus! I would like to sign up for this guild and build for the Nocturnian glory! First, let me introduce my sigfig: Time for a backstory: Exetrius is a young mage, son of the powerful wizard Onicius. He wishes to strengthen his magic abilities, so one day he will be as strong as his father and be able to rule the land that belongs to him. His training has only just begun... I'm planning on doing a personal story thread. Hail Nocturnus!
June 7, 20159 yr Wecolme to Nocturnus, as far as magic here goes, you can pretty much practice anything, even stuff the other guilds might frown upon. Edited June 9, 20159 yr by Dr.Cogg
June 8, 20159 yr Welcome Exterius! Your magical exploits have been noticed by my necromancer, Krell. He hopes to see you become as powerful as your father! Hail Nocturnus! Ooc: welcome to the best guild! Cool fig- love that staff!
June 8, 20159 yr I appreciate your approval very strongly Lord Valdivus! Ooc: I've got some more interesting staffs up my sleeve Btw, does one need to design a coat of arms, since many members have one at the bottom of their profile information?
June 8, 20159 yr Those are tags given by the site leaders, usually for participation in some major site contest or outstanding skill with a MOC.
June 8, 20159 yr I welcome you too, young mage! It's good to see new lords rising in Nocturnus, at the edge of war.
June 8, 20159 yr Welcome Exetrius, your arrival is not a second late. Although the Kaliphlin Civil War continues to catch all the headlines, there is a struggle going on in Nocturnus that could very well determine the fate of these Darklands, and possibly all of Historica. There will come a time when you are asked to choose an allegiance, and those of us in the Nocturnian resistance hope you will stand on the right side of history. Until then, carve our your rightful place in the Darklands and train yourself into a powerful sorcerer. We humbly welcome your presence in this difficult and dark times!
June 13, 20159 yr An emissary bringing terms of surrender from Ravaage- whatever could this mean? Another MOC from myself!

June 20, 20159 yr Work on the Nestlands Embassy in Nocturnus has resumed. The 64x64 build has been quite a challenge, with fits and restarts, and the Civil War Challenge having consumed much of my build drive. Today, though, I came up with a design for an undead kelpie, as the mount for one of Lord Vladivus' retinue. I have a rough outline of the location history in mind, but may leave its exact spot on the map to Lord Vladivus.

As for its position, I don't really have a map for Shadowmere, so anywheres good!
June 20, 20159 yr It seems my sudden dark months caused by my 3D-printer are fading... I missed being here, and missed out on some pretty awesome building from other guild members too!
June 20, 20159 yr It seems my sudden dark months caused by my 3D-printer are fading... I missed being here, and missed out on some pretty awesome building from other guild members too! Lord Osric sends his regards to Lord Mortis. We have not met yet, but I'm looking forward to fight side by side with you to for our cause to free Nocturnus!
June 21, 20159 yr With what has been going on in Nocturnus during the Kaliphlinite civil war, I am very much looking forward to challenge V! While Beorthan has fought on different sides than the host of the Nocturnian resistance, he will still be honoured to assist Lord Vladivus and his allies against the Black Spire! (However, a few months at home might be beneficial before heading of to a new war! ) ((On a sidenote, it seems there is very little support for the Black Spire - I shall be looking forward to seeing how the challenge will be constructed to make the Black Spire an attractive side to join!))
June 21, 20159 yr Bear in mind that Ravaage controls the vast majority of Nocturnus still- the resistance is simply that, a few warriors stubbornly clinging to the old way. The Spire is a pretty cool idea- to be honest I'm always tempted to freebuild for it.
June 22, 20159 yr ((On a sidenote, it seems there is very little support for the Black Spire - I shall be looking forward to seeing how the challenge will be constructed to make the Black Spire an attractive side to join!)) The Black Spire has cookies, we have pie
June 22, 20159 yr Hail fellow Nocturnians! In this time of need Dorath opens its borders to refugees from war and to trade. Wanderers have been sent forth to gather information for our council, as knowledge is power and knowledge leads to life. One of their number, Cyrana de Dorath, travels westwards. Dorath is of Old Nocturnus, the red and gold, but what is tradition against new knowledge to be gained...
June 23, 20159 yr I welcome you, Cyrana! A pleasure to have you in the darklands. I would be interested in the location of Dorath. Or do you keep it as a secret? Ooc: great background for the pirture!
